[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried on multiple shoes & brands before choosing the Revel Max.Just a couple of weeks in, but they are performing as planned. Use for treadmill and light gym work. For me, they are a "happy medium" between the larger more cushioned shoe options & the flat foot running shoes. Great rocker feel puts a snap in my stride on the treadmill. Good for 2-3 miles per day. I wear them only in the gym. Many were close to this shoe, but it seemed to be the best overall. Previously a Hoka Rincon 4 & Ariah 7 user. These fit in nicely to my sneaker lineup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a nurse, I don’t need a ‘running’ shoe but one with plenty of support and soft cushioning. Had Ghost Max but honestly these feel fine for work use. I love wearing them. My go-to shoe. I wear women’s 10 but I bought men’s 8.5. Just for fit

Brooks Revel Max

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new daily shoes and go to gym shoes. My previous daily were Nike free runs because I could just slip them on. The shoe is soft and cushion everywhere and the back of the shoe is strong/stuff enough for me to force my feet in while standing without help. The knit is flexible and breathes. The shoes don't feel too heavy and doesn't look bulky. The design and colors of the shoe make it look casual and modern so I can wear these daily. I like the two tone grays. The materials are soft and nice. I haven't had shoes with this much cushion before Brooks. I now have 3 pairs and they all feel very similar to me while wearing but the designs are specific. These shoes doesn't hug my feet as much as the Glycerins so I use it more for casual wear as well.

Love them—that says it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new favorite shoes! I loved them right out of the box, and they’ve proven to be incredibly versatile. They look great, are super comfortable, stylish enough for work, and highly functional for everything I do in a typical week—work, walking the dogs, light runs on multiple surfaces, and gym workouts. The cushioning is soft, the materials are very breathable, and they remained comfortable all day. Neither I nor my feet have any complaints. I tested them first as my everyday shoes (I average over 10,000 steps a day), and then worked them into light runs on pavement and gravel, plus gym sessions. I was initially concerned that the tread looked more like a gym shoe than a running shoe, but it performed surprisingly well. Traction was never an issue—not even with three full-sized dogs pulling me over wet terrain. The shoes fit my feet well, though they do run slightly wide. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it was noticeable. The Gliderocker feature was a nice touch; I noticed it in my stride while running, though not during general daily use. The best comparison I can make is how trail shoes influence my gait differently than road shoes. I genuinely love these shoes and will definitely purchase another pair—one for everyday wear and one dedicated to running and gym use. I’m also planning to take them as my theme-park shoes, where they’ll be put to the test with 20,000–30,000 steps a day. Highly recommended

Fits like a sock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the new Revel Max in the Oyster Mushroom colorway -- I'm a fairly casual runner who's been needing a softer shoe as a daily driver to help me with a bit of heel pain. Let me tell you -- this sneaker is REALLY comfortable. After about a month of use, I can say that the size is definitely true to fit and the upper on the shoe fits like a glove on my feet, but doesn't sacrifice breathability - the material definitely keeps my shoes ventilated as i walk around and has a really unique texture that's visually appealing to look at. And while the tongue isn't connected to the upper of the shoe, it's still really easy to slip in and out of the shoe without having to tie my laces, just because of how flexible the shoe's construction is As for the sole of the shoe, their GlideRoll Rocker that they advertise is supposed to offer "smooth heel-toe transitions for an effortless feeling as you move". With a heel injury I'm recovering from, I can definitely say that this shoe provides enough padding and transition to make running easier and feel really smooth. The Oyster Mushroom colorway is a gray that goes with any outfit, but the other colors they offer are really cool as well. Would recommend!

Serious comfort in a clean modern design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying out this sneaker for a while now and I think it’s a great shoe for both runs and casual. It’s extremely comfortable and I feel like I’m walking on clouds when wearing them! The DNA LOFT v2 foam makes the shoes really comfortable and provides great cushioning. It has enough give to keep my feet comfortable on longer walks, and during runs it still feels light The GlideRoll Rocker is a nice touch that I don’t think is absolutely necessary but I do like it. It does help you roll forward a little more smoothly and makes transitions feel a bit easier on runs. The warp knit upper is flexible without feeling loose and is really breathable. I’ve worn these all day and never felt like my feet were overheating. I also love the design of the shoe and how versatile it is. The shoes look clean and modern and don’t look like a running shoe, so I can still wear it with jeans when I’m not running. Overall I’m really impressed with how comfortable and lightweight these shoes are. They are some of the most comfortable running shoes I own! They’ve been great for not only my daily runs, but for wearing around town as well.

Comfortable, Modern, and Perfect for Daily Wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Brooks Revel Max so far. The DNA LOFT v2 foam feels soft underfoot without adding any heaviness, and the cushioning is noticeable during both runs and long walks. It strikes a great balance between comfort and responsiveness, which makes the shoe feel reliable for everyday use. The GlideRoll Rocker is definitely noticeable, and it creates a very smooth heel-to-toe transition. There’s a slight “autopilot” feel when I pick up the pace, which helps reduce effort on longer distances. It makes the shoe feel naturally efficient without being overly stiff. The warp knit upper is one of my favorite features. It’s flexible, breathable, and adapts to the foot really well. I’ve worn these for full days on my feet, and the upper never felt restrictive or too warm. It has that perfect blend of stretch and support. Aesthetically, the shoe looks great for both running and everyday casual wear. The overall silhouette is modern and clean, and it pairs well with both athletic clothes and regular outfits. It feels like a versatile shoe I can wear all day, whether I’m working out or just running errands. Overall, the Brooks Revel Max has been comfortable, smooth, and stylish which has been great for running, walking, and daily use.

Look great/feel great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are few times when the shoes style matches their usefulness, but this is one where it hits the mark. These are great for road running and fit in well at the country club as well. I've worn them for events and when taking off my shoes at the end of the night my feet don't actually hurt. I've also been dealing with some off and on plantar fascia tightness this year and these shoes don't leave me sore after running and biking. Nice product.

Function Over Fashion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving these shoes. They are very comfortable without being too heavy. That can be difficult to do when there is such a thick sole. That’s is exactly why they are so comfortable though! The GildeRoll rocker shape of the sole provides this weird almost walking escalator type feel (it’s a good thing, I promise) that is smooth as you are walking or running. I’m a big fan of that because it keeps my momentum going. I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced a shoe that feels like this. My feet are normal width but they lean towards wide. These shoes fit perfectly true to size for me with a little wiggle room. The fabric is also very soft which helps for people on this same width spectrum, even after wearing all day. I really love this cool gray color too because it matches so much. The only reason I gave these shoes 4 stars is that there are the most attractive shoe. The sole is thicker than I thought they were going to be and it gives this curved look to the toe. They aren’t the worst looking shoe out there but I’m not getting compliments on them either. It makes sense that they look this way because that is how the GlideRoll Rocker soles have to be to work as well as they do. I guess you could say they are more function over fashion which is okay because I need the function part so much more.

Great everyday running and casual wear sneakers

The GlideRoll Rocker creates a smooth heel-to-toe transition that almost feels like the shoe is guiding each step. Also, the warp knit upper fits comfortably, with enough breathability and flexibility that I can wear these at work or when I go out to handle everyday errands. Perhaps my favorite aspect is the design - clean, modern, and easy to pair with anything. I don’t feel like a boring, unfashionable dad when I wear them! Overall, a great mix of comfort, smooth movement, and everyday style.

REALLY like these shoes
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are LIGHT weight. I could barely tell I was wearing them. The materials feel solid, like a well built shoe. I have a slightly wider foot and the shoes had plenty of space. I like the shape of the sole, not too flat and not overly curved. The color scheme is a little plain and I'm not a huge fan of solid gray but color has no real impact my evaluation. As far as support goes, the sole is cushioned nicely. Its not overly soft but also not super stiff, probably more on the soft side.
