I’m usually a size medium in sweaty Betty, but having read reviews on this product that indicated it was a ‘snug fit’, I sized up to large! Still very snug and not a comfortable fit. Also found the style a bit flouncy

Good Fit, But the Waistband Keeps Riding Up

Lovely shorts, but the waistband keeps riding up when I'm running, which makes them a bit uncomfortable. They also have no pockets.

I'm 5ft 8 and found that these shorts are a comfortable length and are very lightweight for running. I do not usually experience chafing so cannot comment whether these would prevent that. After their first wash they did look that like they could do with an iron but after wearing them, the creases seemed to mostly fall out. I would usually wear a size 10 in clothing as size 12 would specifically be too big at the waist, but these are not particularly 'floaty' or roomy shorts and I feel that the size M/12 fits perfectly at the waist.

Nice shorts material wise and I love the colour. Sadly they do not protect my thighs from rubbing which means I won’t be using them for their intended purpose. I’m a size 8 and these shorts offered no protection in the upper thigh region and moved quite a lot during a run.
