Bought this for my husband who normally wears a Large. Having read the reviews I bought a Medium. It is enormous, shapeless and baggy. The material and the pale blue is nice but not to be recommended.

I like the oversize fit a lot, just such a shame to see the fabric quality diminishing even in M&S. Everything is Acrylic, Polyester, Nylon... Even this "Cotton Rich" sweatshirt is only 80%, which is the best I could find. I'm sick of seeing labels that say "with wool" or "cotton rich" to only find they make up a small percent. What's the point... Fast fashion, that will bobble and pill after a few washes. I wanted to rely on M&S for fully wool, cotton and other natural fiber materials; for longevity. Instead, as with everyone, they have sacrificed the quality and maintained/upped the prices.

I had hoped that the sweatshirt would be warm enough for winter weather. It is actually best worn as a layer. However, I am sure it will be suitable to wear in other seasons. The quality is good.

Marks and Spencers sweatshirts, in my experience, always shrink when washed. Meaning that although you can still wear them they are not as nice as when they are new. Bought this style thinking that if it did shrink when washed it would be still smart and comfortable to wear. Have not washed it yet.
