This is an excellent jacket both practically and for style. Having read a few reviews before making a purchase I opted for the next size up to ensure a better fit around the arms.

Item was returned. Lovely style of jacket but very small fitting. Husband needed to go up a size but even then it was still snug. Collar very stiff too.

saw this top/jacket in-store and liked the look of it but it was not available in my size.I found it on-line in XL so duly ordered and delivered. The top itself is fine; looks good and nice and warm. The problem appears to be with M&S sizing these days.The top fits everywhere except for the underarm 'pit' which is too tight and restrictive.You don't really notice it at first as the rest of the fit is fine.Over time ,the fabric constricts and rubs on the lower armpit - not pleasant! I have a couple of M&S zip up tops where , again the fit overall is fine - but rolling up the sleeves, the cuffs will cut off all circulation in your arm! Both these garments are made outside the UK ;are measurements 'lost in translation'?! I guess I'm old enough to remember when you could judge your overall level of fitness/weight by using your regular M&S size as a guide - sadly, this no longer applies. I notice another customer has mentioned the same issue with the 'restrictive pit' but they were able to spot it in time and return the item; no such luck for me as I've worn the top Sadly, after many years as a loyal customer, I don't think I will be buying more M&S clothing anytime soon....

Bought as a gift. Very stylish. My son in law loved it.
