Pure Silk 3/4 Sleeve Shirt

If you bought a similar washable quality silk blouse from other stores it would cost twice as much. This is indeed good quality but it does come up big, so I heeded other reviews and ordered size smaller which fits well. Loose boxy style but I admit was disappointed by the bright pink, it would have looked more classy in a subtler shade. It would go brilliantly with pale grey jacket or skirt, which I do not have.......but looks great with a grey mix scarf.

I just love this beautiful pink silk shirt, it looks great with jeans and also with more formal wear. A loose box style it is great for covering those lumps and bumps and would look terrific on all ages.

Ordered this shirt in pink but was disappointed when it arrived as it is a totally different shade to that shown in the online picture. In reality I found it to be a cheap looking bubblegum pink. The sizing is way out, I ordered a 12 but it is really enormous - I would need to go down two sizes to achieve a reasonable fit. Such a shame as the quality of the silk & the overall style are great. I like the 3/4 sleeves, boxy shape & shorter length. Would have been tempted to order the cream version in a smaller size if I hadn't recently purchased something similar.

Was disappointed with the look of this shirt, it was huge and sort of shapeless and droopy. I loved the colour, and have a couple of normal shaped silk shirts, but this one is an odd shape and even on my ample bosom hung like a piece of very expensive rag. It looked OK on the size 8 model, but not very flattering on the larger figure. Why oh why don't you use larger models for your normal clothes sometimes, instead of skinny beanpoles? Then us normal size 16's would get a better idea.

This is a timeless piece beautiful colour and feel, looks like a 300 quid shirt. Hangs beautifully and great 3/4 sleeves, the length is perfect not long like a boyfriends shirt just past the stomach so no old fashioned. It comes up large so order size down. Ordered an 8 as size 10 still comes up lovely and loose as intended and looks beautiful. Anyone a size 8 and under prob not for u! I got 20% off but wud have paid full price, stunning with jeans, skinny, white trousers and knee length shorts and it will go in the wash!

I received this today, and am delighted with the shirt. I'm an 8 or 10, but usually buy a size 10 in shirts as I don't like my shirts fitted. This time, as I'd read the reviews, I ordered an 8, which fits perfctly...plenty of room without losing the boxy style, and the drop sleeve is lovely. I bought it in cream and have decided to order to pink as well.

I am vertically challenged at five feel tall but am quite round - usually have to wear an 18 but having read the reviews regarding this blouse and the fact that I am at fat club, I thought I would try the size 16, knowing I could take it back to M&S when it didn't fit. Surprise, surprise!! It fits perfectly. I can't believe it. Feels lovely, sleeves are long enough to hide my 'batwing' arms and if it is a little more see-through than I would normally buy, my husband says it is fine - that, I have to say, is high praise from him! I have a camisole to wear underneath, should I feel the need but it's 26 degrees in Yorkshire today and I feel the bees knees in this beautiful silk shirt without the camisole. Dress it up or down, looks great with trousers/jeans and skirts. Can wear it for work and evening. It is very nicely finished and I am delighted with it. More colours would be lovely. This blouse is lovely and will dress up an outfit or look equally well with denims. However, it's on the generous (big) side and I exchanged for smaller size to get the fit. Not a serious criticism but....be aware. Fit good once I tried appropriate size.

Really surprised to see the negative reviews about fit as this fits me beautifully. I wear a size 16 and it is just perfect for me in my normal size. it is a loose fitting style so I wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants a fitted blouse but if you want a sophisticated loose fit, great quality silk blouse this is the one. It's ideal for the summer but will also look good under a jacket on cooler days too. It looks great with skinny jeans. It washes well too. I have the cream one but I am thinking of getting it in pink too.

Oh dear, what a shame people don't get the modern styles. This is a beautiful, boxy (on trend) , dropped shoulder, cropped shirt. If you want a classic cut shirt, this isn't for you. If you want to be fashionable, it is! Buy normal size if you want it to look the way the designer intended. M & S are producing great styles, great quality for a great price.

Oh dear, this is such a beautiful colour, the pink, & fabulous quality silk, I so wanted it hanging in my wardrobe BUT, as the previous reviewer said, it is sooo huge & I found it to be far too wide. Maybe it would be a better fit for a larger lady as I have very small shoulders & a small bust. There is nowhere else on the market selling such quality silk at this price so give it a try but go down at least one size.

Lovely colour lovely style but huge so much so in fact I could have got another four or five people in the blouse with me.A huge disappointment as otherwise a beautiful blouse.Cannot go down any smaller in size but even if I could I feel it would not make any difference to the size.A real shame
