Pure Linen V-Neck Shift Dress

I liked this a lot, but for me its more a very nice casual / beach dress rather than a day / work dress. Lovely coral linen fabric with nice swish but do confidently size down like I did after reading previous reviews. Nice sleeve length.

This is dress is simple and elegant. It is voluminous but I bought it in a size smaller based on other feedback and it falls beautifully. The design is meant to be relaxed and flowing. Quality of the linen is great, the grey colour is lovely, neckline is gorgeous and I feel wonderful in it. It's a classic and I look forward to enjoying wearing this for many years to come. Great dress - purchased size 12 - normally a size 14 and 5ft 8. Perfect length and fit. Loose fitting around body although this is the style of the dress which I like. Ideal for holidays !

I liked the dress if only it hadn’t been way too big and I had already asked for a size two times smaller than I take. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a smaller size. I have reluctantly returned the dress for a refund.

Bought this dress size 8 very big and to wide retuned it

I bought this in classic black in a size 16 and yes it probably is a tad too big but it still looks amazing. Classic, sophisticated and so comfortable. It is perfect in every way so ordered the grey which is a soft beautiful colour . I ordered in a 14 and does fit better so go down a size. I bought them on offer with 20% off so a fantastic price for what looks so much more expensive.

I bought this dress in black but it was much too big so I had to take it back. I tried to order another in a smaller size but all the colours I liked had sold out. This is a pity because I really liked the style and fabric and I thought some of the colours would have suited me.

I can't say I found much right with this dress for me. It is voluminous and, because the fabric is linen, stands away from the body - therefore pretty unflattering! The pockets in the side don't help. Why does loose-fitting need to mean shapeless?! I chose black, but without some shape or contrast colour, it looked very funereal. I've lost count of the number of M&S dresses I've tried this year; none have been right for me and, as with this, have been returned.

It’s a good idea. Following reviewers advice I bought it a size smaller. Massive lower dress but then it has sleeves and bust only just fit. Helps to be pear shaped!! Not at all black - charcoal and has that many times washed look. Big comfy and nice neckline - slightly awkward for necklaces but a lovely style feature. Great template for making your own out of more interesting fabric.

This was not for me so I have returned it. Too shapeless and too relaxed.

Really nice dress - I read previous reviews and ordered a size smaller but realised I should have gone 2 sizes down. So when I went to one of the larger food outlets - I managed to pick up the dress in another colour 2 sizes smaller. Which was fabulous.I would have changed the first one I bought in the blue or the smaller size but it’s sold out. I like the colour so much I’ve just kept the larger one as there isn’t a huge difference and it such an easy comfortable dress for the summer. Great value too.

Really good quality linen. Extremely Happy with this dress l love wearing it. Really elegant comfortable love the neckline. You can dress this up with a pair of heels. Or wear casual. I loved this dress so much l also bought in blue. I normally buy a size ten bought a size eight after reading reviews it’s perfect. Fantastic addition to my summer ware rope.

Chambray blue good, linen blend good, style good but didn’t suit me. Floated around like a tent and that was with a smaller than normal for me size. Had to return as couldn’t be taken in because of the pockets in the side seams. Shame.
