Pure Linen A-Line Midi Skirt

Not yet worn. Bought for holiday and hoping it will not crease too much. Just the right length for a 5'2" person, comes just below the knee. Please put the actual length on the description as it's certainly not a midi! I don't think I will unpick the pockets as I think it will lay better. Got the navy one.

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this on; often gathered waists make me look huge but this is cleverly cut and the pleats lie quite flat. I love the material with its linen content and the colour is very flattering. I am not looking forward to unpicking the stitching so that I can use the pockets, though. It looks as though it has been machined rather than slip-stitched so I am not even sure I can do it without compromising the stitching elsewhere. I have another M&S skirt which remains with unused pockets for the same reason. Could this not be made a little easier for those of us with arthritic fingers?

I am very pleased with my new linen skirt. I wore it on a hot day & it was lovely & cool. The navy colour goes with all my tops & is a useful addition to my wardrobe. Just one thing regarding Ma& S skirts , I wish the length information was given each time as ''below the knee can vary.

Please Marks and Spencers let us choose what length we would like to wear. Midi to me is half way between the knee and the ankle, this skirt barely covered my knees. Very disappointed as I had looked forward to wearing it as an everyday skirt.

I'm very pleased with this skirt.I got it in navy so it'll go with pretty well anything. I think it will be very useful, plus it has pockets in the front. I knew it had pockets & fortunately know that sometimes they have been sewn together so you have to unpick them. I think one lady writing a review on the skirt didn't realise this! It definately has pockets!

I bought this skirt to wear during the day on holiday, great colour, found the fit well, am size 16-18 and the 16 fitted perfect. I am 5.9 an it sits below my knee, exactly what I wanted, don't like showing my knees. This will be good to wear here on a summers day, looking forward to wearing it.

I bought this skirt in the cerise shade for a summer holiday skirt. M&S size 18 is spot on for me and the skirt fits absolutely true to size and the length is perfect. The only disappointment (if any) is that the only other colour is navy and it doesn't come in white which would have been perfect for summer.

The gathers in the front of this skirt are so unflattering and it is too short and I am only 5ft 1inch tall. It could have been such a nice skirt if the gathers were better placed and it was longer.

very comfortable to wear, there are pockets but you have to unpick the fine stitches.it is also a very nice length. love it.

I thought this would be a useful ,light little skirt for the hot Mediterranean summer, to be work with long knickers and sandals. It would have been alright were it not for the gathered panel in front. Can anyone talk me through that one? I believe that clothes should be flattering; what's flattering about a skirt with a puffed out area right on the stomach. I think I'm going to unpick it and take in the extra fabric. Or not.

Good quality linen skirt in a midi length. Some elastic in the belt gives a good fit. I would have liked one in beige. I would pay more for a lining, and some hanging loops would be useful.

Material is very good, but the skirt is very unflattering makes your belly look and hips look massive and just doesn't sit right. I'm 5ft10 and it come just below my knees.

I like the colour and style of the skirt which I will wear this summer
