Another enormous tent

I'm usually a size 12 but ordered a size 10 as had learnt the hard way that M&S's definition of 'relaxed, loose fit' generally means 'absolutely ridiculously massive'. It still was. Should have gone for a size 8 or possibly 6. Would have done but had sold out. A shame. Loved the bright cobalt blue - a pleasant change from the usual dreary pastels and sludgy greens and browns.

The cobalt blue is a lovely vibrant colour suitable to be worn throughout the year. The sizing is very generous and despite buying one size smaller than my usual size, the shirt still had plenty of room. I guess this is how the designer intended it to fit , as the side splits would have cut far too high up had I bought an even smaller size.

Loved the colour so took the plunge and ordered one size smaller than usual (size 10 instead of 12) after reading the other reviews - so pleased I did! Still a looser fit but not too boxy. Beautiful shirt.

ordered Cobalt which is super and now a black one wish they did it in bright pink and turquoise ! I normally have size 18 to fit my bust (!!) but a 14 was plenty big enough especially with my narrow shoulders. Just such a classy shirt for work and social occasions

I originally ordered my usual size 12 but this was huge so swapped for a size 10. It's still a bit oversized but feels much better on. This top is meant to be oversized so if you do size down beware that the side splits in the shirt rise up higher which can then expose rather unsightly flesh! The material is a bit thin so the top does crease but not too badly so I have kept the size 10 because despite the small downsides it's a useful top

This shirt is of the quality that M&S used to produce years ago. Unfortunately much of the current clothing range is of synthetic materials and aimed at a youth market which rarely visits the shop. This product is a modern design, of good quality linen and a welcome addition to my summer wardrobe. I wish there were more items like it!

This is a fun shirt, something different. I bought the vibrant blue which might be a little too strong for me, so I'm still thinking of changing it for the ink blue, which is sold out at the moment. My usual size16 is fine. Complements to whoever designed it. It is up to date! Fingers crossed I can get the dark blue one, or even the white one. The whole linen range is great!

This is just what I wanted - the boxy shape suits me. It does have the pocket right over to one side but that doesn't matter because of the general loose fit. I've got it in cobalt, a vibrant blue, and I'm going to see if any of the other colours are still available. I wish it had been available in red.
