Pure Cotton Utility Jacket

After returning one of these jackets (the lining was caught up inside the sleeve) I was pleased that there was still a size 18 left in stock as the jacket had been reduced to half price. I have already worn it and received several compliments so I am very pleased with my bargain purchase. I might be over 70 but I still like to feel as though I am keeping up with current trends.

Read the reviews about the fit of this jacket,there were issues , but I thought I would give it a try. Great jacket,I ordered size twelve, no problems sleeves are a good length,and a jumper could be worn underneath if required. Very pleased with it.

I purchased a size 14 then a 12 but returned each in turn as they were too large thinking that one of them would fit. The replacement size 10 is still quite generous and the arms are a bit too long but I am going to keep the jacket as it's a super colour with a zip and buttoned front.

Love this jacket and everyone says they like it. Excellent price in sale.

I ordered my normal size 10 far too big,sleeves a good 6" too long the shoulders just hung off and the back ballooned out too far,had to send it back.I then tried a size 8 not much better the sleeves again too long and wide.Have read such good reviews in the press so very disappointed.

In reply to previous reviewers: this jacket is generously cut and meant to fit on the loose side, 1980s style. In fact, it reminded my partner and me very much of jackets we'd both owned back then! Coming back to the present day though, I'm really pleased to find this perfect casual summer jacket at such a good price. It looks great with jeans and trousers and the parka-style green makes a nice change from ubiquitous summer blues and boring black. It's big enough to layer warm jumpers underneath, so will be wearable well into the autumn too.
