Pure Cotton Flat Front Trousers

Just the trouser I was looking for. Good purchase.

I purchased these amongst many other styles (all 40/35) with a view to invigorating my wardrobe and although I thought they were well made and of nice material I am afraid I had to return them simply because the waist front and rear 'rise' measurements were far too small (17/12!). I do believe that whilst this 'Big and Tall' range caters perfectly well for the 'Tall' amongst us, the 'Big' are often let down - as in these trousers. Please M & S, do introduce a decent 'Rise' measurement!

My husband really liked these jeans the fit was very good and they washed really well.

I hope they will turn out fine when the weather becomes a little more appropriate for this kind of wear!

I have worn these teal trousers four times now, and can confirm that they are excellent spring/summer weight trousers for warmer weather. They do exactly what they should - keep you wonderfully cool and comfortable in the heat. The cotton canvass twill they're cut from is durable and the creases fall out nicely, whilst still feeling light and airy - they're very comfortable. I haven't overheated in them once, and it has been very warm indeed over the last few weeks. The trouser curtain is also constructed using lightweight canvass and likewise feels light and soft, and the legs are cut very well and balance nicely. The striped lining on the inside of waistband is also a nice touch and prevents the trousers from feeling cheap when you see the inside. I'm very happy with these and I've order two more pairs in white - they're great spring trousers. My only wish is that M&S had produced a 30" waist as the 32" are a little loose on me.
