Pure Cotton Canvas Rucksack

After using the rucksack for only a weekend on the beach the plastic covering on the leather looking straps started to peel off which made to bag look really shabby.

Had seen this on display in the mens department and liked the vintage 'Famous Five' look of it. Thought it would look better then one of those black nylon-y ones. Bought it as a beach bag/general essentials bag for a holiday - lots of pockets for suncream ,sunglasses and inside for valuables. Loved using it and am sure it will age elegantly and have many uses. No way is the man of the house getting his hands on this!! Only possible downside is pockets have magnetic catches under the straps -one or two proper fastenings would have made me feel more confident. That said ,there is a secure zip pocket inside.

Good quality but expensive. The shoulder straps are ridiculously long when adjusted and flap about under your arms. Nice bag but expensive and badly designed

Good style, although very thick material so is a lot heavier than expected. Pockets are very adequate, but the "popper studs" do not work if they are filled to maximum. Not water proof. Overall not bad for the money as a day pack.
