Not colour fast

I fell asleep in this shirt and now my beautiful white bed linens (linen sheets, silk pillowcase) have blue stains all over them. This is called crocking and it's the result of poorly dyed fabric transferring dye to other fabric. Regatta offered a refund but I am not made whole since my linens will now require expensive specialist cleaning. I will never shop here again.

I bought this for holidays and was very pleased with it until I wore it over my swimsuit and it turned me blue, the dye just kept coming out thankfully my swimsuit was black as anything white underneath would have been destroyed. Even after I washed it the next time I tried wearing it the dye again started to come out without minutes. Very disappointed as it was a lovely top

Lovely bright orange beach cover up. Light fabric. I’m 5’4” and the length was good over a swimsuit. I saw the comments about dye running so I pre washed it and used a dye catcher. It was fine and the colour has stayed bright.

Dye-running disaster

The shirt looked dyed the same colour as the great and fit very well. I washed it in the machine before use. I first put it on when I was wet after a swim and within minutes my body and swimsuit were a deep navy blue. The dye washed off my body but not off my yellow swimsuit, which was completely ruined. Very disappointing.

I bought the navy stripe colour beach shirt and it looks good on. I pre washed before wearing but this did not stop the colour from leaving a blue colour on my skin ( around my neck, and back of upper and under arms ) disappointed.

Perfectly acceptable very lightweight beach shirt. Offers good coverage. No-peep buttons. However, the colour runs, a lot. Beach was hot, I was sweating a little bit and this shirt left navy blue colour all over my arms, underarms. I looked like I had some kind of cyanide poisoning. Had to scrub hard to get rid of the blue cast. This despite a full wash pre wear and thorough rinse. Would not buy again and will not be buying any Regatta products in future.

I bought this item in navy and white stripe. The only time I was able to wear it the colour came off on my arms, back, thighs, watch strap, white handbag etc. I was really disappointed as I didn’t expect this to occur on an item of this brand

Haven’t heard of Prena but bought this cotton beach shirt in orange as this will multi task wearing over swimwear & as a layering piece over a sleeveless dress. The tag on inside collar & the little tag sewn on lower outside edge says Regatta, which I don’t have a problem with as it’s well made and sleeves are not too long on my short arms. I bought size 12 that has ample room across my chest and shoulders & hits my knees on my 5’1” frame. Very pleased with my purchase as fabric is lightweight cotton, not thick like other shirts I’ve bought and returned.
