Plantscription™ Anti-Ageing Cleanser 150ml

Regularly use other plantscription products; serum and retinol night moisturiser (both of which I will not be without!) so eventually persuaded myself to try this cleanser for a change when the frothy face wash i had repeatedly been buying (as is lovely!) needed replacing even though it's a steep price increase. Initial thoughts were beautifully creamy and luxurious to use. Face felt fresh and soft after use. But after repeated twice daily use my combination skin prone to clogged and open pores was suffering. T-zone becoming oily and shiny throughout the day and eventuating in a breakout not experienced since late teens! Sadly had to stop use altogether after just a few weeks. Not recommended for oilier skins, but everyone else should love this.

I have been using this cleanser for years and love it. Although it's expensive, you only need a very little each time, so it lasts a long time. Cleanses without drying the skin.

Love this cleanser! I couldn't imagine using anything else to cleanse my skin as it really helped to improve the condition of my skin. I used to have tiny spots on my forehead and it cleared them out!!! I have tried all kind of products before that and nothing has helped me like this cleanser!

I had this one alongside with White Tea Cleanser. Both are very good for me:) And I have dry/combination skin. This cleanser is a bit thicker, that's why in title 'smooth'. Would enjoy it:)

I love this face wash, and have been using it and other products in the Plantscription range for several years. However, I have reached the end of the road with the packaging which is TERRIBLE and which is why I am only giving it one star. The bottom line is that it's too big. It's massive to travel with (I buy the smaller tubes in gift sets where I can but they're not always available), and it lasts way too long. The lid snaps off eventually because it is used so many times. But the main thing is that it's impossible to get the face wash out once you get to a certain "emptiness" of the tube. With my current tube, I actually cut it in half to access the product that would no longer squeeze out. You need to wrap it so that it doesn't dry out, but it has lasted me over two whole months longer. Please please please reduce the tube size so that I can go on buying - or at least give the option of buying smaller tubes. Or change the design to a pump, or long and thin, or something that actually works as it should.

This feels lovely on the skin as it turns to thick foam on the skin which initially feels nice but as soon as I patted my skin dry after washing my skin felt dry and tight and became itchy. This is not what I want from an anti aging product. Another down side to it is that it did a poor job of removing light makeup. A little goes a very long way, however, so if this does suit your skin it's very good value for money. I do love Origins cream cleanser and their oil cleanser but this plantscription one is not for me. Anti aging products can't be drying.

Love this cleanser it is brilliant, so gentle yet removes makeup totally. Leaves skin feeling fully clean but not stripped or dry and a pea size amount is all you need for face and neck, so well worth the price.

I love this product. It's very creamy and leaves your skin feeling really clean. not sure about the anti-aging properties because I've only been using for two weeks but would certainly recommend to anyone. I now have most of the range which I am really pleased with and would love to try the new eye cream but all the stores are out of stock of samples which is a shame.

The smell is somewhat strange and I have to hold my breath and quickly wash my face with it. I have to stop using it after a while. This is the most unhappy product I have from Origins. In terms of removing oils, it seemed to work well.

this is beautiful stuff -you only need a small amount and it washes of so quickly i love it.

I have used Origins since inception and love everything they make. However, this wash is amazing. I used to use Cream Bar and then changed to Checks and Balances when it was discontinued. I love C&B but is was just not the Cream Bar. As I purchased the Plantscription Toner/Lotion recently, I decided to give this a go. It is soooo lovely. Really creamy and makes your skin soft and renewed. It works well with the whole range and my skin is radiant and clear.

I love this cleanser, I have tried various others but always returned to this one. I have combination skin and I find this product thoroughly cleanses without drying leaving my complexion radiant and supple. I love it!!

This is a lovely cleanser - a little goes a long way and it lathers up beautifully. I usually use Checks and Balances but I actually prefer this, especially as I am using the whole Plantscription range now.

Having used cleansers and toners to remove make-up for the last 30 years or so, I was sceptical at first but was then delighted by how clean my face was after using this product. It lathers beautifully with the addition of a little water. It removes every trace of make-up and my skin feels so soft after I've used it. The tube seems to last a long time as you only need such a small amount. A beautiful product.
