About this style
The Peakfreak II Mid Outdry walking shoes from Columbia are made from a combination of luxe leather and waterproof textile. Their neat lace-up style provides a flexible fit, while soft padding around the collar helps prevent rubs and chafing. The durable rubber outsoles are deeply cleated for good grip, while pull tabs at the heel make these shoes easy to put on.

Lightweight and very comfortable
Yes, I recommend this
I’m really pleased with these-they’ve very lightweight and easy to wear-haven’t needed any breaking in and have worn them on a few walks now with no issues. I hadn’t had a mid ankle pair before so that rubbed a little on first couple of wears but have now got used to it

Super comfy and lightweight. Didn't need breaking in and have kept my feet completely dry.

Shoe looks really cute and didn't need breaking in. I walked 10km in them yesterday and my feet felt supported. I also took them to paintballing and they fared up well through all the running and crouching I did. There's a slight issue with the ankle part digging into my skin during the vigorous running but I think I should've worn thicker socks.

Very light and comfortable , durable material, the grips underneath helps with traction. Best hiking shoe I ever bought.

Amazing lightwieght comfort & support!

Incredibly comfortable and supportive for my flat feet with over-pronation; I cannot stress enough just how comfortable and supportive these really are! I have difficult to please flat feet: narrow heels and ankles, with a wider forefoot and very sensitive, sore toes. I require a deep heel cup, adequate arch and side support, wider toe box, and ability to secure my ankles. These check all the boxes and then some - I've never been so excited to take a new pair of boots on a hike immediately. Also very lightweight. They feel like a supportive, cozy running shoe but make it a boot and leather. Very true to size unlike Sorel who Columbia bought out recently. I'm a size 9, ordered a 9.5 just in case and found them a tad too big so exchanged for a 9.
