Great gift but I sent to a friend for her 40th and my message was absent. I text her a few weeks later and she wondered who sent it. Disappointed as I hoped it would have been a nice surprise as I saw her on a visit to UK from Australia. She stayed with us when she was 20 and we kept in touch over the years. When she said she was going to be 40 I had to send her a gift when I returned to Australia.

I bought this hamper using a gift voucher I had received for my birthday. I love the Apothecary range and sincerely hope it’s not being discontinued; I was looking for the hand and body lotion but had hot buy this hamper in order to get it. I bought this as a gift for a friend who had just had knee replacement surgery. I reckoned she would not be ready to stand around arranging flowers etc. Also I did not want a hamper filled with a high percentage of sugary treats. I was so impressed with the contents and the presentation of this. It was beautifully presented - the striped interior of the box, the matching green envelope with my message inside, the layout of the items really ‘blew me away’ and on receiving gift my friend’s comments were similar. I reckon this was excellent value for money and went way above and beyond my expectations. Well done M&S!
