Notch Lapel Oversized Duster Coat

Well after the reviews over the summer/autumn I thought I would make the purchase! Coat was a beautiful colour and the quality was ok. However the coat arrived with filthy cuffs and collar. The coat was too big and in hindsight should have got my usual size rather than sizing up. Would have liked to try the smaller size but found it had been withdrawn from website! Returned for a refund!

Loved the colour and fabric but had to have it shortened considerably so as not to feel frumpy - if you have one re-sew all the poppers on securely - the first time I wore mine all the poppers on one side came off and they only give you one replacement

Over the last 45 years I have shopped at Marks & Spencer's and always found something to wear I have had some up and downs mostly because of my weight, my size ranges from 16 to 18 and when I think about it the only problem I have are with sleeves, they are usually to tight for the size of the garment not every garment just some. The clothes range at the moment is modern and stylish I have just purchased a Duster Coat in blush pink and I love it, its a coat that will see me through to next years seasons well done! Marks & Spencer's and not forgetting the food and wine excellent.

I missed buying this in September when it first came in to stock online - while I was debating with myself over what colour to buy, the rest of the world made up its mind very quickly. And if I had bought it in the Autumn, I probably would have kept it. I would have got some wear out of it before the weather turned, and before it became a bit of a cliche. I managed to get another one when they came back into stock at the end of October, but it was just too big, too cold and the moment had passed. So, there is a size 8 returned to the St Albans store if you are quick. Lesson - timing is everything, especially with stock control.

I love coats and over the years have purchased many, but I have to say this has to be my favourite in a long time. It is so soft and luxurious and I would have been willing to pay a lot more than the asking price. It is so refreshing to see "pink" as an option instead of the usual grey and blacks. And a choice of pinks ! amazing! I have had both! M&S Top Marks for this one, please start making lots more coats in these candy shades now as you can see how much we love them. :-)

Ordered this as probably too taken in by all the hype and was so disappointed! Peculiar shade of pink and peculiar feel to fabric. When trying it on, it reminded me of a 'cow gown' my grandad used to do odd jobs in - truly hideous! It is neither a classic or gorgeous!

I was pleased to find this coat on line the second time of trying, after having been informed it was out of stock. However was very disappointed when trying it on. It was advertised as a 'duster' coat but would have been more suitable as a coat to wear as a maternity garment! Having said all that, I would add that the quality of the material and the softness of its feel were excellent and I could recommend it to anyone who prefers a coat that has a more loose fit.. The price also is very reasonable.

Like other Reviewers, I have had to order a size smaller. Thankfully, it was in stock. Only worn it twice lest it gets dirty; but have had many compliments on the colour and style. Thank you M&S!

I really liked this coat, it fitted well, however, I have decided to return it as I have realised it is not practical for my lifestyle after all which is a shame. I agree with another review that Wool would be better in this fabric. Well done

I loved the coat but unfortunately it was not big enough for me.

Afraid I hd to return this. It was far too large - could have done with 2 sizes smaller. The poppers on the coat were very ugly and cheap looking - would not recommend. A pity, as the colour was great.l

I ordered online but in the meantime, as I was passing a store I tried on the coat in a 14 and it fitted perfectly. How I wish I had bought that coat as the one delivered was enormous. I took it back to a store and tried on several in 14 and 12. All the coats were different and in the end I gave up and got my money back. My husband also thought it looked cheap and the length is odd, neither short nor long. On a good note my daughter has one and loves it. I think maybe it is a young person's coat and I am just too old.

The pink duster coat has been widely advertised as desirable, however I found the colour too strong and the shape a bit too comfort-robey. I returned mine.

Lovely quality and fabulous colour Ordered a size 10, could probably have done with a size 8 but it's now out of stock again I will keep it as it is really good value and looks like an expensive coat
