Newton Ridge Plus Walking Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE these shoes!!! So cute and comfortable. Needed warm, waterproof shoes with traction for a trip to Iceland. Straight out of the box these boots were comfy - no break in time necessary. Running around, prepping for trip, they kept my feet warm and dry in negative temps and snow. Standing for 4+ hours at a time, no problem. These were the only shoes I took on my 7-day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets - you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Fortunately I did not experience standing in deep snow or excessive rain, so I can't speak to how waterproof they are in extreme climates - but the limited rain and snow I encountered my feet stayed dry. Traction was good on snow and ice, I didn't slip or slide once. Use the website measurements to choose your size - it was spot on. These boots look amazing on - they do not make your feet look big and the cream color with the pink laces...cute, cute, cute!!! Bought them to wear on my trip, will happily be wearing them all the time. Don't hesitate to purchase these boots, you will not be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are cute and perfect for hiking. The soles have lugs for traction and the suede upper seems durable. They are very comfortable but I found them to be a half a size too short. I am always an 8.5 and in these, my toes were a bit smushed. Definitely size up, especially if you want to wear thick socks.

A 3 only because I didn’t expect such a disconnect with the shoe size. But I have ordered other boots and accessories without any problems. I love this store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as a last minute purchase before a hiking trip because I had finally worn out my old boots, and hiked 30+ miles in them fairly comfortably right out of the box with no break in period. I was impressed by the waterproofing, but I was disappointed by the lack of traction and could have used a more comfortable sole when hiking for long periods. These boots were just fine on dirt trails but when conditions on inclines were wet, snowy, or icy I found myself wishing I had something that didn't feel so precarious - especially when seeing how well my friends' boots performed in the same conditions, as they were able to easily access places that I needed crampons for. Went up a half size to accommodate for hiking socks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in Jan 2023 for the occasional hiking trips and ended up loving them! They are perfect for cold winter days and comfortable enough to wear all day while teaching on my feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these multiple times in a week for hikes ranging in all lengths and types of trails. They are perfect. My toes never jam forward or side to side. I am 6’ and wear an 11 and sized up to the 12. They are a little roomy, but I like them like that. I have a very narrow foot but I just lace the laces extra tight and make sure they are secured well at the top. Probably going to get another pair in a different color.

I use these early in the morning when the due is on the grass, they leak, could you send me a new pair, size 7 med, i only wore them last winter, i have been wearing Colombia shoes for over 30 years, and family members as well…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for work and after reading reviews I bought the wide. They still needed to be wider and they are not waterproof. After a couple hours of walking through dewy grass there was water sloshing inside my boots. It took several days to dry them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these 2 years ago and so far have hiked part of the AT and Isle Royal in them and they are great! They are waterproof to an extent, but haven’t had any issues in muddy areas. Comfortable and cute!

Bought these for myself and my teen for a trip to Acadia. They performed well without any break-in time. We had great weather so did not get to test the waterproofing. I would rate 5 stars, but there is NO insole/arch support. If you needed you could replace the insole.
