Moab Speed 2 Waterproof Walking Boots

Bought for work. Super lightweight! Love the laces

I really wanted to keep this after getting a great deal on them, but the sizing is off. They were about a 1/2 size too large.

The boots were comfortable right out of the box. I've done two five mile hikes and they performed excellent.

Way too much space in the heel. Great feeling while walking on a flat surface but with any incline it causes a ton of blisters. This is my 3rd pair of merrells and I’ve worn all the rest till failure and all have been amazing besides this boot.

Bought these for a hiking trip to North Cascades National Park and Glacier National park. From regular trail, through mud and snow, these shoes were comfortable. Great grip and my feet staued dry the whole time.

1/2 size smaller was recommended, but turned out not to be appropriate. Returning for half size larger.

So far the Moab Speed 2 has exceeded expectations. I had the GORETEX Moab 3’s but they were way too hot. The 2’s are significantly lighter and breathe much better. So far I’ve taken them on 5+ hikes and I am pleased with the purchase.

I have put about 50 miles of trail under these new boots including sloppy and muddy conditions and they are holding up well. I can come home, grab the hose and spray off the Ohio clay with the hose while still wearing them and my feet stay dry. I am expecting them to serve me for hundreds of miles, so I hope they hold up like they have this far.

Bought Moab-GoreTex three weeks ago have had them in Norway and now in Sweden and love them.

Great fit wide for box. There's no such thing as a waterproof shoe. I would have preferred these didn't have goretex because it doesn't really work. But that's all that was available. Otherwise great shoes.

I bought them just under a year ago and used them for a 7 day elk hunt. I also wear them for work rotating them with a different pair of boot. On the inside of the big toe there is a hole that has formed on both pair of boots, needless to say’s no longer waterproof. The boot are extremely comfortable but for the money I feel they should have lasted longer than a year especially since they are not a pair I wear daily.

These leaked through the Gor-Tex material. When I reached out to Merrell, they declined to replace the product. I sent pictures showing the leaks did not occur from water coming over the eyelets and they declined to back their own product. Another good brand gone bad. The quality is NOT there anymore. Then they offered 30% of another purchase. Why exactly would I buy something else when the company doesn't believe in their own products?! No thanks. Will not be buying Merrell shoes again.

Theses shoes are too high, I feel like I’m going to roll my ankle. They look like platform shoes…I’ll stick with the regular Moab 3’s

Terrible bought many great Moab mid ankle and these are higher and tried for 2 weeks and still hurt to high and not true mid like my others
