Moab Speed 2 Mid GTX Walking Boots

My daughter used these to hike 11 miles into the wilderness and up a 9500 foot peak and 11 miles back out. She wore them for 4x days straight. She had not broken them in, but they were comfortable to her the entire time and never caused blisters. They seemed to have good traction on all surfaces.

Wonderful supportive comfortable hiking boots. Wore these hiking in the Rocky Mountains, North Cascades and Olympic. They provide a bit more cushion than the classic Merrell hiking shoes. Very comfortable when worn with a good pair of hiking socks. My only complaint is the only color options are light and white. I got the blue and light blue and while they look pretty when you first buy them, they instantly collect dust and dirt.. especially in the drought conditions near Aspen this year!

Light, grippy, supportive! After breaking them in for just a few days indoors, I’ve had them out for several long hikes at CVNP. No blisters and super comfortable! I’m a fan!

These shoes are so comfortable. They didn’t require any breaking in, they felt great from the first day even when wearing for long periods of time. I love the white and pink color. They’re very light with good support, and feel like a cross between a boot and a shoe. Highly recommend!

For the rugged terrain gives good ankle stability on jagged roots of the Forrest in Vermont.

I purchased these to go on my first hike at Estes Park and they were amazing! It was still very snowy and we had to scramble through some waterfalls and my feet stayed dry the entire time! I am a beginner and these were PERFECT!

Have held up extremely well on tough rock scrambles and relentless dirt and dust.

Very comfortable right away. Lightweight but sturdy. Feels like wearing a sneaker but it has ankle support.

These shoes are a tad large in my regular size. Maybe with winter weight socks they will be ok.

Need more colors in large and wide sizes but solid cushioning and ankle support. Better soles and cushioning than most hiking shoes

The Moab Speed 2 Mid was an excellent choice for light weight stability. I used them on an alpine hut to hut hike and they were comfortable even with very little “breaking in” time. Even though the treads wear a bit too quickly, I was so satisfied with the comfort and waterproof quality that I ordered a second pair. I do wish they would have options for darker colours besides black just to hide dirt and mud accumulated on the trail. Other than that, it is a great shoe!
