My Cinderella Slippers

I love love love my Cinderella slippers…. I walked over 1000km on the Camino del Norte in Spain plus additional kilometers in France in these boot, plus all my training… carried a 20-25lbs pack and they performed like a Merrell boot should. They were extremely comfortable, I had no problems drying them out when I got them soaked hiking all day in wet mud, and took a brush to them in the morning and they looked great. I loved them so much I came home and quickly bought another pair so when i need them they won’t be sold out. I usually usually wear an 8 shoe, 8.5 boot, but for this I bought a 9. They are light weight, performed well, held up well, and I am still wearing them. The price was pretty good …. But the performance was fantastic!

I bought these a couple months ago for my recent trip to Washington! I have plantar fasciitis and got these initially because they have a big toe box. Let me tell you, my feet felt great even after 20 miles of hiking numerous straight up and straight down hills. I got a 5.5 (which is usually my normal size), and I wasn’t disappointed at all. My feet felt great besides being on them everyday hiking the Washington mountains there was no plantar pain & I was able to get up the next day and have no issues! While the people I was with was having foot pain the initial day/rest of the week. I initially got them on sale! Even if they aren’t, they would be worth it ! (I got the purple/green)

The best hiking shoes! These are incredibly lightweight, but durable! I hiked a week straight in the alps without even breaking them in and ended up with 0 blisters. They were great for the cold and the rain in the alps all the way to the extreme heat and red rock in Zion. Would easily recommend these to anyone!

I've had my shoes for nearly a year, wear daily at work. I'm up on my feet at least 8 hours a day. My feet don't hurt, my back don't hurt. It feels like they surround my feet. I love them and will be buying another pair in a month or two. These are the best shoes I've ever owned!!!

Pretty good after trying 6 boots

I bought 6 pair of boots to try on for Alaska and these are the only ones I kept. These are goretex and lightweight which i prefer, they seemed to be waterproof after a few rainy hikes, but even after one trail the black pair I bought are already discolored for good so I gave up trying to wash them. They stayed comfortable after a 30k step day and took no breaking in which is great. I recommend sizing up a half size. I wish they were a tad less boxy in the toe where they feel too spacious for me. I hope these last or will be disappointed in the price tag

I purchased these boots in anticipation for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro next year. I wore them this week hiking in Montana and Yellowstone National Park. There was no break-in period. They were comfortable from the start! The laces never came untied, which was nice. They are not waterproof if you walk through a stream. My feet were soaked. My feet did stay dry walking through wet grass though. I would recommend them though. I purchased my regular size (5.5).

Bought these for a trip to Alaska. Stayed in great condition throughout the whole trip. Survived all weather - rain, snow, mud, heat. Outer shell did get wet and feet felt cold at times but actually remained dry. Just started getting a blister on my heels at the end of the trip (but after wearing them every day for 2 weeks).

Purchased for Half Dome hike in September. I wore them for the first time this June. Did short steep 6 mile hike (Table Rock in SC). They were comfortable straight out of the box. No break in period. I stepped in a coulple of puddles and my feet stayed dry. There were wet flat rocks all along my hike and throughout the whole hike i may have slipped 2x, while I saw others slipping constantly. The toe box is very roomy, and ankles felt supported. My feet had no aches after. I'd highly recommend.

Comfy and true to size, don’t upsize.

Light and comfy. But stick with your original size, don’t go up despite what is suggested.

These shoes are AMAZING! I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. My feet are exactly a size 6.5, so sizing up was a good idea. I hiked a 1.0+ mile trail in the White River National Forest in the Elk Mountains with these shoes on. They can handle any terrain! I hiked through rough dirt, rocks, and even snow. My feet felt fine after the hike. My only complaint about the shoes is that they’re a little hot, but it’s great when the weather is cold.

OBSESSED is an understatement for these shoes! I absolutely love these boots, they are so comfortable. I got them for a few hiking trips I had coming up and they did not disappoint. No breaking in necessary ready to wear right out of the box. My old Merrill’s were bulky and heavy but these are so comfortable and light. Did an 8 to 10 mile hike in them back to back no problem. Definitely recommend will not disappoint. Water proof, kept my feet dry during the rainy season hikes I did. Also the color is super cute, I got the grey ones and they matched with everything.

Comfy but not really waterproof

I’ve used these shoes three times now. They are super comfy and have enjoyed using them while hiking in dry weather. I used them today and walked through a good amount of foliage that had dew on them. My socks sadly got wet and the toe box layer is wet on the inside. I worry about what will happen in heavy rain, snow and river crossings.

Great for an everyday, not so much for hiking
Originally posted on Merrell
Really comfortable, great for solid flat surfaces like asphalt or concrete. Excellent everyday shoe. Does NOT do well on uneven surfaces like walking graded forest roads, I feel like there is no stability with any uneven terrain. Feels like sole is too plush and has too much give to support on uneven ground.

Good but .....

Most confortable walking shoes i ever bought but there is a major problem. As per tag on it it is waterproof but for only approx one hour, the time the water takes to soak in, a bit like rain on a land dried from weeks of no rain. Do the test, you will see on your own. Pour water for two seconds on the tip and put your hand inside. Waterfroof!!! Fantastic! Then wait an hour and do the same for another 2 seconds. A river will come into your shoe. Good only on a dry sunny day....

Indicate country shoe is made in (size difference)

I have several pair of Merrill moab and jungle moc! Been wearing them for years! Very comfortable! Hiking , walking - they are awesome ! My only complaint is that I wish Merrell would indicate what country the shoes are made in. Why? Because they is definitely a difference in size!!! There is a half size difference depending on what country they are made in ! Indicating the country will save the hassle of returning for exchange .
