Moab Speed 2 Mid GTX Walking Boots

Bought as work boots. Comfortable, runs snug, feels secure around the ankle without being bulky or stiff. Waterproofing is solid, and they can be laced fairly tight without feeling too constricting. The tread leaves a little to be desired; less rubbery/grippy than expected and it's slippery on wet, smooth, or metal surfaces. Would expect better performance for the price, hopefully they won't wear down too quickly. Probably adequate for dry trails, but falls short for multi-environment indoor use.

I love these Merrells. They are sturdy, stable and feel like a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair. I have these also in a wide and is a low quarter version. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9.5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

I am loving my boots! They didn’t need break in time as they were comfortable right away for my first hike. They are 100% waterproof and stylist at the same time. I am very impressed and want another colour too.

Absolutely love them! I ordered a half size bigger than my usual and there has been zero blisters or break in period. So much cushioning and my ankles feel so stable. Also very breathable despite the gortex. The peach colour was also a big draw!

I purchased these as a replacement to my old Moab’s & I’m happy I did! They’re cute/trendy and very comfortable. I brought these as my only shoes on a trip to Norway & Scotland and my feet only hurt a little on day (to be expected) but after that I was pain free & had 0 issues. Highly recommend!

Recently bought these boots, and hiked 10 miles this past weekend. These boots were comfortable and very light weight. These trails were uneven, muddy and rocky. I crossed a few creeks with no issues. I am a clumsy hiker and not once did I feel my ankle went unsupported. I definitely would recommend these boots! I can’t wait to try them on a 14er this summer.

Comfortable, supportive, very cute fashionable hiker, great quality, true to size, lightweight, keep feet dry and sand out. The best summer hiker I have ever owned.
