Please provide more vegan friendly options

I bought these because they are vegan-friendly and the regular Moab is not. Unfortunately, even though I sized up a half size these shoes were short and tight in the toe-box and uncomfortable. I think the classic Moab is very comfortable and I wish they made it in a vegan-friendly version because I do not want to wear pig-skin.

These shoes were comfortable out of the box, with no break-in period required. My husband and I both purchased the Moab Speed 2 GORE-TEX shoes for a trip to Alaska. Needing waterproof hikers, but not wanting to pack extra sneakers, we thought these would fill the bill and weren’t disappointed. They got us through airports, many hiking trails and even into the gym. We had a dry week in Alaska, so we didn’t get to test the water resistance, but they’re GORE-TEX, so I think they’ll be fine. Really comfortable shoe! My husband thought they felt true to size, but I feel they run 1/2 size big—nothing a thicker sock can’t remedy.

I have a pair of these I use for disc golf and they are very comfortable and reliable so I figured I get a pair for work. I work in the animal services field so I needed to get something in black. Got these in and love them. Even for just the office, the feel is superperb and the seem lightweight so they are a pleasure to work in and play in!!

I have both Speed 2, Speed 2 goretex. this is bad.

I have both speed 2 regular and speed 2 gore-tex. These are basically the same as Speedgoats except last a little less long. The Gore-tex I just used on a 6 mile hike and they were awful. My feet hurt so bad by the end and were somehow bruised -- i have 4 pairs of Merrell's and love all of them except for these. they're just terrible shoes and I don't know why. the regular speed 2 are great, I definitely recommend but not for really rocky terrain just casual hiking.

Great Versatile Waterproof Shoe

Great lightweight waterproof shoe that is fashionable enough to wear with anything, but also rugged enough to handle some light trails. This is definitely not a hiking boot, but delivers a lot of versatility. Feet can get hot with the Gore-tex lining, but not bad with the right socks. Wore these on and off throughout Europe for a few weeks. Held up very well and highly recommend.

My partner and I both bought a pair for our summer hikes. We put them to the test through rough rocks and snow. The shoes were so great! They’re light weight, good tread, and over all very comfortable. Highly recommend.

After reviewing several options, and trying on many, I chose these shoes because they had good quality support, yet lightweight, and waterproof. I will be walking the final stage of the Camino Francis and I wanted a pair of trail shoes and not hiking boots. These were the best choice for that purpose.

The shoes are very comfortable and have good soles for hiking in rocky uneven places. Recently used them in Smoky Mountain NP for hiking. I ordered a half size larger because it said they run small, I really should have stayed with my original size, they are a tad loose. Just wearing thicker socks.

Great Trail Shoe

I am very pleased with this trail shoe. It has good support for your feet and very comfortable. I always size up a whole shoe size when buying running shoes. I did that with these but could have gotten away with only a half size bigger. I walk on a trail with different kinds of terrain and live the traction these shoes have on it.

Great comfortable shoes with no break in

Fantastic grip and comfort. I wore these for two weeks straight mountain climbing in Japan and they were consistently comfortable and had good grip. They needed zero breaking in. My feet never overheated and it was easy to keep my feet locked in place in the shoe. The only disappointment was with only two weeks of wear some of the detailing on the exterior was peeling up. Thankfully this seemed to have no impact on the waterproofing.

I wanted a light, sturdy but attractive summer walking/trekking shoe. I had read many good reviews of this one and yes it’s also pretty! You could wear it with dresses if you want. I have now worn them a few times walking good distances and I can’t find anything wrong with them. As soon as I put them on, they felt so comfortable and light.
