Moab 3 GTX Suede Walking Shoes

I have tried almost every walking shoe there is and I'm an old man now so we're talking about a lot of different shoes. Merrell's Moabs are the best I've found. I have four different pairs in my closet. I walk one hour on country roads each and every. But I also wear these for everything else, too, eating out, visiting, errands, appts. For me, they really are the perfect shoe.

For the type of shoe it is I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is right out of the box…they fit and wear like I’ve had them for a long time with no breaking in period necessary. That’s never been the case with a walking/hiking shoe that it would be that comfortable and especially with one as useful and well made as these….

These are nothing like the Moab 2 hiking shoes. Very uncomfortable and I had to return them.

Nice looking shoe, comfortable and worth the price.

They're tough shoes very well build from what I can tell so far. Unfortunately I got a half size too big so they weren't the most comfortable for me.

I haven’t had much time with these shoes, but I’ve been wearing Merrells for years. These Moab 3s actually feel like an upgrade. They have been very from the minute I put them on, and they feel more solid than any of my previous versions.

Another winner in my Merrell collection of footwear. Comfortable, durable, light and waterproof.

The water proof GorTex shoe fits snug for my size 10 feet. I had to search for an insert to exaggerate the center arch slightly to take the weight off the front of my foot. This is NOT a negative of the shoe. It's me, My foot. Shoe material is extremely well built at around the shoe/foot as well as the grippy bottom. If I were to long, long hike on away trips, I'd order "wide" and 1/2 size UP. This is the 3rd pair I have bought over, many, many years. The last pair was used as a landscaping, hardscaping, work around the home projects for so, so many years, I wore the bottom grips - flat. Best!

I'm an avid hiker. I just bought these to replace an older pair of non Gortex mid hikers that I literally hiked the sole off on an 85 mile 5 day hike in the Wyoming Bighorn Mountains. Omg these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. They are amazing. I know everyone's feet are different. I have long narrow feet with a high arch and these are about as close to perfect as I've found. After my sole fell apart on my older shoes (granted after hundreds of miles on them) I was ready to try another brand. So glad I didn't.

I work at a public pool as a maintenence person, these are waterproof, comfortable, supportive, and have excellent grip. And while expensive the price of these is about the cost of some lower toer shoes plus a pair of boots with the convenience of being an all in one shoe. Of note these do not have a composite or steel toe which i would like but could not readily find.

Ordered my usual 11-1/2 and wow, do these RUN SMALL. Easy return and ordered a full size up....fit like slippers and I will probably sleep in them tonight. Can't wait to get them out for a walk, but maybe I'll get lucky and go sleep walking tonight! Very pleased with the fit, but BUY UP A SIZE! or you'll hate em.

I've been a Merrell customer for decades and had no problem with sizing, which remained the same over the years. So, I ordered the Moab 3 online. Size ran small and didn't fit, nor did the other two Merrill pairs (different styles) fit., that I included in the order. I donated the Moab 3 along with the other Merrell's, rather than returning them, which would not have been hassle free.

Shoes were comfortable. Kept feet dry in light snow and rain in the Canadian Rockies.

Comfortable shoes, but it's much heavier than what Merrell advertised (13.5 ounces), size 9w weights over 18 ounces.... Merrell should be truthful about the tech specs on their products instead of false advertising.
