This looked good in the images and I liked the sound of the fabric...but overall the cut was just too big. The collar was good - but why the balloon(ish) sleeves? And the tiny cuff which didn't match the collar? The length was good but the skirt was voluminous. I wanted to like this - but felt so swamped that I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it. Please M&S - please cut sleeves properly. You used to be so good. I will be returning it.

This dress was of a good quality and style but sadly too full from the waist down - not really quite a shirt dress as it was too billowy. I read earlier reviews but decided to order and see for myself. I did return it for the reason stated. If it had been slim fitting I would definitely have kept it.

I give 5 stars for quality, design and fit.the advertisment picture dose not do the dress any justice the I got the size 10 only because the size 8 was slightly tight around the waist . So if you have a thickish waist go up a size also the length is perfect I am height 5.2in it goes to my calf excellent

I have waivered for sometime over purchasing a denim dress. I have not regretted this purchase- it transverses the autumn/winter season of dress. It is flexible to dress up or casual. I love the length and quality of the denim.

Unlike other reviewers i did not think that there was too much material waist down The top part of the dress is lovely with the pocket detail and fitted well. A true size 10 Will change the belt to leather to match footwear

The dress is a good fit especially across shoulders and sleeves. I like the fitted darts which sit very well and suit the dress being worn without a belt giving the impression of a longer line. Like other reviewers I am considering taking some of the fullness out of the side of the skirt and will make the sleeves three quarters.

The dress is a perfect fit. The fabric is just right for a dress - not a thick denim but heavy enough to fall well without creasing. The skirt is nicely flared without the bulk due to well placed darts at the waist. Will be a firm favourite during the winter months.
