Mattissimo™ - Matt Lipstick 3.5g

As described it is indeed very matt and not easy to apply but the depth of colour is intense and lasting. I overcame the dry quality by applying over a little lip salve first and was then happier with the result. It isn’t then so long lasting but as it’s non returnable I’m happy to wear it comfortably this way.

I like Diego dalla mascara so ordered a lipstick. The colour was far too bright and the texture stuck on my lips. I compared it wil other lipsticks and it definitely drags on my lips so is hard to put on. No moisture in it. Plus the colour didn’t last.

Great quality and lasts ages

This is the sort of true matte lipstick I like, rather than those which are called matte but are actually cream. It has a velvety finish and is very highly pigmented. I sent for the 'English toffee' which, despite the name, looked pinkish on the screen. In fact is is a true deep toffee colour with a slightly rust tinge and, although not the colour I wanted, I like and wear it. I sent for the pale mauve without testing and this will be unwearable on my pale skin as it is a very, very dark berry shade and I thought, at first, I'd been sent bordeaux in error. It is quite gothic..I have still given the lipstick five stars for being a true matte, which I think flatters older lips as it makes them look fuller. Colours need to be tried first, though.

This is my second purchase of lipstick in this brand, I bought this one in bordeaux and it is a lovely deep berry. Not as moisturising as the Rosetto range hence 4 stars but brilliant coverage and staying power. Bought the lip liner in the same colour. Really pleased with all 3 purchases.
