Long Sleeve Shirt Maxi Dress

Being a size 22, I expect a lot of things to look different but this was a joke. I’m not just fat, I’m tall, but only 5’10”, the “Waistline” on this didn’t even sit below my bust. The cuffs wouldn’t do up, and I have skinny extremities, this has never been a problem before. Absolute waste of time trying to sell this dress as it isn’t going to fit anyone in this size.

Great rich green colour and hangs really well. As others say it is very very long which is OK for me as I’m almost 6 ft tall but would drag on floor for anyone shorter. And far far too tight - I tried it with a jumper underneath so I could wear it unbuttoned but then couldn’t do it up at all!

I love this dress as it truly is a dress for all seasons. It can be worn all year round, boots for autumn/winter or sandals/shoes for spring/summer. The fit is perfect and the length is great as I am 6ft tall. Very slimming as I am hippy however the dress fit and flare is so subtle it flatters my shape. It is also beautifully feminine and a gorgeous colour too. Would definitely recommend to friends. If M&S offered the same dress in various colours I would buy them all!

I love this dress , it was bought to be worm at a friends 60th Birthday and it did not disappoint . Worn with M&S evening shoes and good quality paste jewllery it was glamorous as well as smart. As mentioned in a previous review it is very remanisent of dresses in the seventies. Worn as the model with boots it a smart anytime outfit. Well done M&S .A double whammy.

Agree with the previous reviews - too cheap looking fabric; returned the dress.

Love this dress, great fit - ordered usual M and S size. Flatering under the empire cut. Great length and colour. Only small negative is that the fabric could be better. It looks good but after a few hours wear its very creased. I decided for the style and money tho that it was well worth it.

This is a really stylish dress - exactly like I used to wear in the 70's! But that is no bad thing. It is a good fit, though may be a bit snug across the bust if you have a fuller figure or want to wear the dress with a jumper underneath. I am 5'9" and the length is perfect for me as it comes to my lower calf and looks fab with boots. The colour is good for a change, but more choice would have been nice. The fabric is a bit thin and does crease, otherwise I would have given the dress 5 stars.

I loved the colour of this dress although creased quite easily. Unfortunately I wasn't tall enough for the dress as it came to my feet! I think these jersey dresses would be better in heavier weight jersey to lessen creasing even if the price was higher and come in 2 different lengths.

Be prepared, this is ankle length and fits loosely. It looked good on me but if I am 172 cm and it goes to the floor.

I wear lots of maxi dresses in the summer and around the house in Autumn/Winter, and I was hoping to find a dress that wouldn’t look out of place in the cooler months. Unfortunately this dress was far too long. I’m 5’4” and even with 3” heels this dress was still on the floor,,,, this would have made it impossible to wear outside if there was any chance of the ground being wet, plus you’d possibly be eaten alive if you went on an escalator!! Also the colour wasn’t good for me, it drained my complexion. I liked the fact that it had long sleeves and the material felt fine for the Autumn months. I’d like to try again with this style if M&S could make it much shorter and in a more attractive colour,,, royal blue, etc.. It went straight back.

Nice very long shirt dress, very elegant. Colour is emerald green though not khaki. Nice fitted style but very small on the top half. A size up would have fitted on top but would have lost the nice fitted shape on the waist so sadly had to be returned. You need to be at least 5'7" to wear this or it would be too long!

I love the style of this dress and the colour but I have to agree it’s much too long and the material could have been better. The colour is a rich green. I found the sleeves a bit short although I am sure I don’t have long arms. I didn’t find the fit too small and will keep this dress , have it shortened and move the sleeve buttons over slightly.

This dress was most disappointing in many respects. It was far too long for the style - i’m 5’9 & love wearing long dresses but this swept the floor and did not flatter the shirtwaister style, in my opinion. The quality was not good either - the material had a very cheap feel to it
