Great quality material and design but sadly too long for someone of 5 3"! please can we have dresses and skirts in optional shorter lengths.

I am 5'11", a size 22/24 and (a young) 51. This dress is ideal. A good weight, a great dark navy, slimming and a little sexy depending on where you button it. Certainly a dress that makes you feel put together and confident. Fabulous length too. Pleeeeeeese M&S, do this in other similar weight/drape fabrics and other colours - and don't change a thing about the cut! Definitely my favourite garment purchase this year. More please!!!

Love this dress! I would describe it as smart casual, very well made. I am between a 14 and 16 but ordered the 16 as it’s buttoned down the front, it fits fab. My daughter has given it the thumbs up, also thinks it looks expensive! Well done M&S

Love the modest style of this dress I don’t like the belt as it doesn’t do anything for me.....fabric is fabulous for the warm weather. Would have loved a full sleeve and having the option of rolling the sleeve up. Overall love the dress.

This is a lovely style - classic. Belt can be changed to give another look. The fabric is a good weight and quality. A dress which will be fine for late summer into early autumn. A good buy with 20% off.

Lovely dress which I really liked, only drawback a little tight across my bust so gaped, therefore I reluctantly sent back. Otherwise good quality material which had weight to let it hang nicely, quite a long belt. A good addition to anyone's wardrobe.

Ideal for weather that is about 21 degrees. Light warm linen. Very stylish when wore with high heeled shoes or sandals. Very comfortable. Felt like a princess

Apparently only available online so just luck to see it & available in my size. Absolutely lovely dress, just simple classic styling, great to have half-length sleeves & length ideal for me (5'9").Quite a heavy linen so envisage being able to wear through autumn too, am assuming it will wash & wear well. Would very much like more of this style dress, maybe in a heavy jersey material for winter?

This is perfect for Plus size ladies who don't want a MINI dress. I am 22/24 5'7" 68yr and for yonks have been looking for some of the great linen dresses advertised by other European high street shops but elude our fave M&S. Curvy gals cannot wear minis and M&S need to adjust their format. Unless you are under age 20, no plus size female has great legs or knees unless she is 6ft or above. Minis make curvy gals look dumpy. This dress slims the figure, can be dressed up or down with accessories and can be worn with or without the belt. Pockets are aligned well and very useful. I found I had to undo the sleeves because they felt a little restricting for me ( and I don't have particularly huge arms. Not a big deal, I will wear my trusty shoulder pads , cuff the sleeves and remove the belt. Shame it's not 100%linen but hey, small steps make great strides in the end.

Dress looks so much better when wearing it than on the hanger. Nice fit, good length, only thing is the sleeves are a snug fit - fine for a skinny like me, but anyone with more flesh would have to move the buttons.

Yes I bought it but when I washed it there was a lot of shoddy left in the washing machine. I think it could do with some darts in the back. Not sure if I will wear it now as it would be too hot to wear.

Love this, fabric good weight and will be useful for cooler days. I shall try to find a stripey camisole to go underneath. Lets have more please in good basic colours, cream perhaps. Really pleased with this especially the length.
