Big Letdown

Unusually poor service from M and S in that after ordering I was informed there was a delay in accessing the stock. Fair enough but some businesses let you know that when you are ordering . After a very long delay and tracking revealing no movement I had to work hard to get a reply from customer service and find out very gradually the goods were damaged and so on their way back.I had ordered for a house guest and so that plan was upended. Still no information about my refund forthcoming at the time of writing and I was surprised not to get an offer to send out another replacement given the double inconvenience . The offer to re order all over again was very unimpressive rather than Marks and Spencers automatically sending out a replacement and committing to consistent good service and updates rather than filling my inbox with stupid surveys while not doing basic communication. So now won't be in a rush to order again from.a store that seemed to be so together .

This duvet set looked good and seemed a perfect match to my requirements. It looks good, as expected, but the materials feel light and flimsy which I wasn't expecting from mixed cotton and linen. I'm sure that only time will tell.

Looks beautiful however I have never had a duvet that makes me sweat. The fabric feels synthetic and hard not soft like I was expecting. I should have read fabric details, cotton and linen. Definately more linen. The price reflects the what you pay for. If you are after cosy soft duvet this is not for you.

Loved the look, the colour (green) and the feel. But machine washing and then tumble drying (gentle smoothing cycle), it screwed up like the proverbial dish rag. A pig to iron - and several times now.
