This was a great build for a beginner. I love the pull-back feature of the car, makes it super fun! I’ll even let my toddler son play with it! I feel like the overall design could have been better. It just feels like something/details are missing.

On step 21 there is an impossible manover were you need to put a white long peice through 2 rotating pieces and it was so hard that I had thoughts off breaking in and throwing it out off the window. do not recommend

The team that designed this needs an award for designing a build that is nearly unbreakable from being dropped and driven into walls. The only slight issue was that I felt the build age should be for 8, or even 9+ as it is a fairly difficult build.

He is so happy with this one being he also loves Monster trucks. He took alittle longer to build this one but the outcome was so wonderful.

The truck was great value for money, the box graphics were very exciting to look at and my 11 year old grandson couldn't wait to get started, it took him around 3 hrs to complete and he hasn't stopped playing with it since, I've ordered some more of the range for his birthday and Xmas presents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a long time Lego fan, and also a big fan of Monster Jam. He's completed all of the trucks in this series, and was excited to hear that Monster Mutt Dalmatian had been added to the collection. We find these to be particularly cool, because they become an actual toy when they're done. They hold together surprisingly well when they bump something, and the pull back feature works as you'd expect. I would absolutely recommend this, as well as any of the other Monster Jam builds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son got so excited when he saw this. It’s the best of both worlds. LEGO and Monster Trucks. Two of his favorite things. As an adult this thing is really cool. He built the entire thing which did take awhile but he is only 6. He was able to do it mostly on his own. It’s a pull back which is so awesome. I didn’t even know they made things like this. We both liked how you can pull up the instructions online. It made it much easier for him to see a larger picture of what he was building or supposed to do. I would definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This truck has been a huge hit with my family. My four and seven-year-old built this with their dad in just a couple hours. It was their first time building a Lego creation. What they love best about this truck, is the fact that it has a mechanism that allows it to propel itself when pulled back. They have fun, sending it up, creative ramps, and off couches. We are shocked how well it holds up, without one piece breaking off. My son loves that it has a springy tail, Ears that he can flip out. My husband likes that it can be changed into another vehicle style, for another fun project. We loved this family activity and continue to enjoy playing with it after it’s been built.

It took a couple hours to put it together (doing other things in between) so ultimately it didn't take that long. I love that it's a pull back truck instead of just a standard lego truck that sits. Its hit the walls and cupboards a few times and so far nothing has came off so I also appreciate the durability of it. 10/10 would recommend!
