LED Floor Lamp

Stylish, easy to assemble, bright and functional..

Stylish slim light which gives good reading and working light though more appropriate for office area. Arrived in good time and not difficult to set up- follow advice in references. Two negatives- don’t like throw away aspect once bulb gone, and would like ability to turn on off light which doesn’t mean scrabbling about on floor!

Really substantial lamp at a good price. Looks stylish and as long as you read the instructions before assembly it is not difficult. Previous reviews suggest difficulties but maybe they didn’t heed others’ warnings. Bought for a replacement and very pleased with my purchase.

It was Perfect for where I wanted It and looked good

It's a shame that there aren't enough details for this light given on the website. I had to take a punt with buying it... but I'm pleased that I did. It's a 10W built-in LED with a moderate diffuser fixed on the front which provides a decent reading light, or if you twist it round, an uplight. There's a footswitch ~0.5m from the base and a further 1.5m of cable to the 12v power adapter. The lamp head doesn't get hot in use. The usual life of these LEDs is about 20000 hours so it should be good for many, many years. Colour rendering is a slightly warm white (see photo). Top tip: when assembling, fit the pole together from the top down and so that the cable only needs to be pulled through one piece at a time. When the base is fitted, the cable is fairly difficult to pull through this part; and additional friction in the poles would make it harder. This is the reason for one star reduction. Note to M&S: If you're trying to sell lighting in store, it's vital that the customer can see the light when switched on. At present this isn't possible.

Brilliant lamp, compact and stylish. It is easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. Surplus cord pulls trough the base and is secured with an Allen key which is provided.
