I bought these as I needed a new pair of black summer work shoes, and these are different to anything else I own. When I tried them on they seemed comfortable, but after a day at work I had two blisters along my left heel, right where the edge of the shoe sits. The other annoying thing is that I paid full price for these, wore them to work the next day, then that evening had a notification that I had early sale access. And of course they were 50% off!

Unfortunately I tried two pairs of these shoes and both were returned faulty, they were coming apart, before I even got to wear them, which was a real shame as the lattice work would have been great for when needing to look smart in the heat, also would’ve been great for casual. As I didn’t get to wear either of the pairs I bought due to the faults I cannot say if they were comfortable or not, wasn’t prepared to try 3rd time lucky, thankfully as I would have paid full price for something that went to half the price the following week which would really have cheesed me off.

I have these in the brown leather and very comfortable, however the black leather ones seem alot narrower and the leather not as soft , as soon as I put me foot in I knew not for me

These leather loafers are perfect with linen trousers, or shorts to wear in the summer. They are comfortable and perfect with no discomfort with rubbing etc. I would 100% recommend them.

Expensive look / high street quality

They do look great. I own a similar paid from a luxury brand and they are almost identical. However, they are not quite comfortable. I got three blisters from the first wear - never happens to me with Tod's or other high end Italian brand. The weave was bothering my ankles and the toes. I would struggle to wear them without socks albeit that is sort of defeating the purpose...

The leather strapping faded quickly despite being cared for appropriately and it gave way after a few wears. Couldn’t be bothered with the pain of returning them so they went in the bin. A complete waste of my money.

Tan loafers

I ordered the tan colour. Read the reviews and decided to size down but they were too small so had to return. I'd say if you have a broad forefoot to order your usual size. I wouldn't have been wearing socks with them either.

Lovely shoes. I bought in tan. Giving them 3 stars because of sizing. I wear 5.5. In store I tried 6 (too loose) and 5 (too tight). Ordered 5.5 - right length and width but they slip on the heel unless I wear sock liner.

Strange sizing

The shoes are lovely looking and feel comfortable, however sizing and the logistics of trying them on were problematic. I ordered my usual shoe size at M&S and when I received the shoes they were tied together with a short rubber band that made it impossible to try them on together. I cut it, the shoes being in my size and looking great, and lo and behold, they were about a size too big. I have resolved to using an insole, but quite annoyed by the weird sizing and the impractical packaging.

Was looking at M&S online for plain loafers and these came up. A stylish luxury look for way less than some brands. Nice irregular heel finish adds to the look, comfortable on first wear, and so great one of a few retailers that do half sizes. Wish they did an off white/cream for a true summer look, the tan option is not as good.
