Great soft leather bag in Navy. Good magnetic closure. I'm quite short so perfect length handles. Perfect size to hold iPad, Filofax etc. Love it. You will too.

This bag is absolutely perfect for me for all the reasons that some other reviewers have complained about. It's beautiful soft leather and so, so light. I can't wear any straps of any kind on my shoulders. I love the fact that the straps are short and cannot be put on the shoulders. It's roomy without being heavy so is more like a larger handbag. It's smart and goes with just about anything. I have been looking for a bag like this for ages and a huge thank you to Jodie from M & S who recommended it to me.

Ordered in navy , a nice shade of navy , however then saw the tan in store and decided I would get more use of the tan one . Nice light tan , soft leather so will go will a lot of things . A bag to take you through the seasons and very light weight .

Loved this bag in store- beautiful colour and the shape of it. Ordered online and picked it up today. Once you take all the packaging/paper stuffing out the bag it folds in on itself and when you put a purse in the zipped section the side of the bag it folds over with the weight ( this is a small - medium purse ) The bag is floppy and and as a previous review has said needs a bit of structure.....back it goes as even with 20 % off the bag looks all wrong ....sorry !

Found this bag, just what I was looking for, good leather, good size and no logos! But the handles, oh what a shame they were not a bit longer,All the other bags I looked at had handles long enough to pop onto your shoulder so come on M & S why not this one? Sorry but couldn't buy it for that reason.

Ordered this 'shopper' bag as looked and sounded nice, must admit I didn't get my tape measure out but assumed by the title shopper it would be reasonably roomy. However on receipt it was very small and for instance handles wouldn't fit over a shoulder, like most 'shopper' bags. In addition the closure was described as zip, (at time of ordering) it wasn't it was a popper so given its size made it more handbag the lack of ability to close the bag completely made it unusable for me so I've sent it back. Have to say the leather and quality were good, just not as described,

Great quality leather and nice light tan colour as you'd expect from Marks & Spencer. My only criticism is with the handles of the bag. I know the bag is meant to be carried by holding the handles but if they'd been just a fraction wider, it would fit around my shoulder as well which would made this bag more versatile. Also, the bag only closes by a magnetic press stud in the centre which means that a large area of the bag is left open. Beware pickpockets! It's easy to reach in without opening the stud.

Interior of bag , does not match up to previous bags bought at M&S , Almost thought about returning it . Also felt the 'holding' straps should have had moe stability to them .

Beautiful leather shopper

This is a lovely bag, it looks expensive and understated. However, on taking out the stuffing, it 'collapsed', a real shame as I had to return it. All it needs is some structure, especially in the base.
