Perfect winter boots

I have searched for years for a decent expensive looking pair of leather boots and at long last have found the perfect pair. I have quite wide calves and have always worn little ankle boots, but these look great with skinny jeans and leggings, and are comfy for walking around town or smart for an evening out. Really pleased with them.

I love these boots, great colour, they fit really well and stretch to fit snugly around the calf, but are easy to do up. The only thing I am concerned about is a slight gapping around the ankle which means it creases sightly, but I am hoping after time they will soften up and wont become baggy around the ankles. Otherwise great product, fast, easy delivery/pick up. A happy customer

I usually take size 6 and these fitted fine. I have what I think is an 'average' calf size and again the boots fitted well. The dark brown leather is nice but scuffs a bit too easily for my liking, but I have found this with other makes of leather shoes and boots. They are very comfy and look smart. The only puzzle is the 'faux snakeskin' bit in the description...I can only assume it applies to the metal trim on the side of the boots and the ankle strap end...which, I think is neither here nor there! I have to be very careful of trim on the sides as I don't want to scratch the boots when I cross my legs and tbh I would prefer it if it wasn't there! But all in all a nice pair of boots which I hope will last a few years.

I have real trouble finding boots that fit my calf's, wide feet and low ankles and normally have to suffer a few weeks of blisters and bruises. I can honestly say these are like they were made to measure in every way. I was a little dubious about the tern 'snakeskin' but actually they are really good looking pair of boots. My one tiny gripe is that the metal bits on the outsides catch on my tights, but maybe I should learn not to cross my legs so much - highly recommend

These boots are perfect for my feet, which are size 8 and fairly wide. I have a deep instep and really struggled to find anything to fit properly that didn't squash my feet! Normally boots in a size 8 come with a wide leg and end up being baggy on me, but these seem to be perfect! I was surprised they didn't arrive in a shoe box, they were packaged in a bag within a box that had other items in I'd ordered

After rallying between 3 stores, I decided to order online and also take advantage of the 20% discount promotion. The boots are so comfortable, although I did purchased a ½ size larger than my usual shoe size as I felt this particular boot was not so generous. The leather is extremely soft, and they fit very comfortably around my calf something I have had problems with in the past. Great purchase, although the stock situation for size 5½ is none existent on my area.

A smart boot that is very comfortable. Haven't had the same issues as other people with the metal strips on the side. Do have to wear thinner socks as they come up slightly narrower.

Almost as a last resort I ordered these boots - I came across M&S's collection rather too late in the season to find my size (8) in many styles. However, I was delighted by how comfortable and stylish these boots are. My only minor gripe is the darker shade of colour on the toe, but I'm happy to put up with that as these boots are such a useful addition to my wardrobe.

LOVE these boots! I have VERY 'athletic' calves and have struggled for year to find boots to fit from the high street fashion stores. As I age (40) I've become addicted to M&S and once again they did NOT disappoint! True to size (I thought I may need a half size up), comfortable, stylish, don't rub anywhere and I feel GREAT in them! :-) xx

Excellent quality and price but far too big on the calf for me. Would be good for M&S to also include a narrower leg fitting as well as wide. I'm sure there are plenty of women out there like me who would prefer a narrow legged boot without having to compromise on foot width. Sadly, had to be returned.

Always struggle to find boots that fit well enough on the calf. Ordered 3 pairs and had to return all. Would be great if M&S could consider catering for the slimmer fit fir calf as well as 'Wide fit'

The boots were lovely and putting on the first one was brilliant, really comfortable and it looked good. However, (sadly, there is one) the left boot appeared to be much narrower and could not fasten at all. I had to return them to the store sadly.
