Cut & Carve Plus Large Chopping Board

My old wooden carving board split and no longer considered hygienic to use. I loved this board but couldn’t find a suitable replacement in either wood or metal. Saw this on the web site and read the reviews so purchased the smaller one. Really pleased with the board. It doesn’t slip when carving. Love the lip around the side which catches all the liquid from the meat. Even better it goes in the dishwasher. Being plastic it will mark with use but would definitely buy another one especially at this price.

I loved the idea of this but it has only been used a couple of times and where you slice meat etc it has scratched the surface. Its not tough enough for the job. If the surface were tougher then this would be great.

I have one of these boards but sadly the silicone round the edges is peeling away and the spikes have worn down to a stump! Not great value for money but the concept is good.

Really pleased. Finally got something that collects the meat juices. Not too heavy. Easy to wash.

Good product. Glad I bought the extra large. Keeps all the meat juices on the board rather than all over the worktop! Easy to clean.

Sturdy, well designed, great quality, big enough to catch all the juices but compact enough to store easily.

Very pleased with the chopping board. Just the thing when carving a joint.

This is ok but with the spikes being plastic rather than steel, a sharp knife will cut into them and they do wear down and lose their grip on the food. It’s bulky but the fact it catches all the fat, juices etc effectively makes up for that. If the spikes could be made in metal it would be really good. I find myself going back to my old metal carving tray now as the food is held more securely. It’s also expensive for what it is…..like all JJ products.

Really like Joseph Joseph kitchenware but think they are often a bit expensive.
