Jersey Turtle Neck Maxi Dress

I bought this dress in khaki during the summer, and put it away for the cooler weather. That one was a size 10 and is looser than I would normally expect for that size, but still looked good so I kept it. When I saw the same dress available in Navy, I decided to try it in a size 8. It is more fitted than the 10, but still looks great! The fit and flare style is flattering to all body shapes, and the long sleeves and higher neckline are perfect for autumn/winter. The material is soft and comfortable with the Navy being slightly heavier than the khaki. Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find the material see through. It can be worn as is, or with a broad belt and chunky jewellery for a different look. I have also worn it with a long cardigan on colder days, and it looks great with boots or shoes. The sizing is on the generous side, so depending on how fitted you prefer things to be, bear that in mind when ordering. I'm happy with both sizes for different looks. Well done M&S!

Bought dress in the sale,in size 14 - my usual M&S dress size it was way too big and had to be returned

Saw this on my daughter at Christmas in Navy and loved it, so went online to see that it was in the sale for just £17.00 and, no surprises , only left in a size 10. I am a 12, but took a chance, and in fact it fits perfectly. I am almost. 5ft 7ins, and wanted long, but they only had standard, and thank goodness, as the long would have been on the floor. Thank you M & S for a great buy.

Nice dress but material a bit thin. I'm afraid it did show all my lumps and bumps and it was because of that I returned it. However if you are slim and minus lumps etc.,this would be a dress you could wear anywhere.

I bought 2 of these dresses last year, one in khaki and one in navy. When I saw them in more colours online later in the year I bought a brown one and a black one. My normal size is 10 and this was the size I chose for the first three dresses but when I purchased the black one the only size still available was a size 8 but I bought it anyway. I then realised that the size 8 fits me better, especially around the neckline which was always rather too wide on the size 10s. I love these these dresses and it's amazing how much I can change the look with narrow belts or wide belts, long waistcoats or cardigans, jackets etc, long necklaces or short, and with flat shoes, high heels, ankle boots or even trainers. It's a simple dress but with many possibilities.

The Dress didn't seem to be far too big for the size I ordered & the fabric was far too thin for a winter dress. I took it back to my local shop. Big disappointment.

Bought it on the on-line sale, so with 50% off it was a bargain. Nice shape to it and managed to get it in black. Fits very well and the long size reaches my ankles and I'm 5' 8" tall.

Bit on the large size. I am top end of a size 12 but could have gone to a 10 easily. However no bumps show as fabric doesn't cling. Plain colour can be dressed up with a bright scarf and jewellery. Regular length also quite long . I am 5 ft 8 in .. Fine for day or informal evening out In the sale so good value

This was regular and I am 5’6 which is average female height in UK. where did you dream up this length which puddled on the floor?

the fabric was very thin showed every lump and bump, it was also very long on me, seemed strange to have such a light weight fabric with a wintery style.

Sizing was on the big side. The neckline made the whole dress look very cheap so I returned it.

Looks great, can dress up or down very smart. Although ordered a regular length was still long I'm 5 10.
