Best Daily Trainer of 2026
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my third pair, by far the best shoes of 2025. I hadn’t been a brooks guy the last 5 years with the endorphin line and supercomps taking over. This shoe changed that. Cannot recommend enough for a comfy, quick, daily trainer (that looks great in all white too)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely disappointed in the fit of the new Hyperion Max 3. I had really bad plantar pain within the first 5 minutes of running with them. I pushed through and ran 3 miles the first day and 5 the next, but had to stop multiple times due to the discomfort and pain. Besides the plantar pain, the shoe feels unsteady and my right foot rolled a few times - feels like the increase in foam and thickness makes the shoe feel very unsteady. I am a 7.5 and always order a half size up on running shoes, but the increase size didn’t make any difference in the feel. I was excited to try them since I ran two half marathons and a full marathon with the Hyperion Max 2 and LOVED those shoes. This new version is definitely not a good fit for me. I will be returning them.

Hyperion Max 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these two weeks before my first marathon as my previous pair of Brooks Hyperion Max 2 were no longer available. These shoes did not disappoint. They were break in ready on my first mid distance and long run. By race day I felt fully dailed in with the Hyperion Max 3. They offer great spring and have neutral support. I usually size up to allow for better foot spread. The current pair have 150 miles on them and no sign of wear. I love these shoes!

Healed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best shoes I’ve ever put my feet into. I’m 38 and relatively athletic. When I tell you from my ankles all the way up my legs into my back don’t hurt at all when running, you’d think Jesus himself has touched me. Don’t sleep on the OG Jesus. Great shoe.

Stellar Running Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the springiness of this running shoe! I've been a Brooks fan for many, many years, and have tried all the models. This is for sure my go-to for running. Brooks has this one perfected!

Not liking these
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I'm not liking these as much as the 2. They are very hard to get on with the higher elastic around the top of the shoe. The toe box is very tight and I can barely tie them. I have a narrow foot and I wear a heavy sock in the winter. I'm not able to fit in them and be able to tie them with the socks. I absolutely loved the Hyperian Max 2. I don't know if I will buy the 3 again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are designed for running, not walking, as I saw other reviews had intended them for. With that being said, they were fine for running. They're springy, cushiony and propell you forward. They felt more like a speed shoe rather than a distance shoe. The plastic plating that it has did not work for my foot specifically. Took a couple runs to get my foot used to it and even then I found myself preferring my Glycerine Maxs. Im returning because for the price, they just did not feel perfect. Aslo its true they have a tighter toe box so sizing up is smart.

Performance enhancing features--Cloud like comfort that propels you forward with every stride.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great running shoe for everyday running, short or mildly long. I literally have shaved off 4 minutes of my 5k time with these shoes. They feel great on my feet and the toe box is roomy enough that there is no pain afterwards. The shoes propel you forward, giving you that momentum you need to go faster and has such a bouncy feel to them. Really happy I bought them!!! Second pair of Brooks I have and definitely will not be the last! I am a Brooks die hard fan for life! GREAT shoes all around!

Protects and Rips!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Protects and rips at the same time! Love this shoe. Great for shorter tempo type workouts or long runs when you want to pick up the speed. I like the sock like upper and didn’t have any problem with lacing or the tongue bunching up like some people, but can see if you have a wide foot how the upper might feel too tight. Longest run so far in these shoes is 16 miles and the legs felt good. Look forward to putting this shoe through the paces! Great companion to the Glycerin Max, which is great for recover runs!

Love

Great for Speed Work and Training
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying running in the Hyperion Max 3. I was a little skeptical at first with the amount of cushion and the stealth fit sock, but they fit and feel are great. I have worn them for a test run, some speed work, and a 15k race. This is not a long run easy pace shoe. There is a curve to the propulsion plate that does propel you forward. The shoe is responsive and I love the color combo.

You call this a good shoe?
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I really gave them a solid chance - two weeks of walking, slow runs, adjusting the laces, trying different socks. The collar is as hard as a rock and even though they were my size, it was tight, uncomfortable and painful. Ended up with the biggest blister I’ve ever had in my life and now need to halt my running program for it to heal. Get a different pair.

Finally a shoe that supports my back and feet!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge Launch fan, but after having back surgery, I needed better support. The Hyperion Max 3 shoes are AMAZING!! I love the snug hug around my ankle. Helps stabilize each step. The shoe itself is made with a very breathable fabric. The heel support/cushion is unmatched. The rock motion with each step absorbs the shock when I step. The shoe is lightweight. I am on my feet a lot at work (hospital) and these shoes carry me through the day with no foot or back pain. The price is steep, but the shoe is my new favorite.

Too tight

I want to give these 5 stars but they are so tight! 😭 I have the same size and width in the glycerin max shoes which fit great, but not these unfortunately.

less than enthusiastic
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
personally I'm not loving this sneaker. they connect the tongue of the sneaker to the sides, and my foot has a very high arch, so it is uncomfortable and tight around the circumference (although lengthwise it fits fine). I had a previous version but I'm not a fan of the new changes, so I will not be buying these again.

Recommend shoe. Order half size down
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically wear a 10 in Ghosts, but am wearing a 9.5 in these shoes. Took 5-10 runs to get used to these shoes but then wore them for two marathons and loved it. Feet felt better after the run, recovered fast. Highly recommend.
