heel pain
Originally posted on Saucony
No, I don't recommend this
I bought 2 pairs a month ago. I started wearing them a couple of weeks ago. I have been wearing Hurricane for many years. I have always loved the shoe. Now with the Hurricane 25 I have to stop wearing them. My ankle is to low to the side of the shoe causing a lot of pain during a run. I did take out the insert and used the insert from a pair of Hurricane 24 with less pain. They changed the depth of the heel in the shoe or the thickness of the new hurricane 25 insert. I do not recommend buying this shoe.

As a beginner runner, this shoes feels amazing. Very little and has a solid cushioning, making my runs pain free, specially on my knees! Love it so far.

Great show!

As a runner for almost 30 years, the Hurricane 25 is one of the best shoes I've worn. It is highly cushioned to protect your legs during daily training, but with enough bounce to keep me turning over even for fast strides after runs. Love the shoe, love the brand!

I’ve been searching for a stable cushioned shoe since I started running a few years ago, it became a mission after foot surgery that has left my foot and ankle weak. So glad the running group suggested this shoe!

Back Again
Originally posted on Saucony
I'm back. I have been a daily runner for over 40 years w/out interruption and my best marathon was a Sub 3 time. That race was in a Saucony. After 8 years running in Hoka's the quality of those shoes took a downward turn. I am back. I always have 4 shoes (Hurricane's) in my rotation and I am very pumped to be back in the Saucony team again.

Superior comfort, padding and support.

I walk a lot and I had purchased the Hurricane 24 which were very comfortable. So it made sense to purchase ten Hurricane 25 when is was time to replace the 24s. Padding, comfort and support are excellent.

Great long run shoe

I consider myself an average runner with some slight stability needs in my running shoe. The Hurricane 25 is soft, rides well and just the right amount of stability needs for me and great for I think even a neutral runner. My current favorite running shoe!

Fit and Feel great right out of the box!
Originally posted on Saucony
Just tried on my new pair of Hurricane 25s and like my pair of Glide 18s they fit and feel super! Different than the Glide 18's but still so comfortable it's too early to tell exactly what that difference is. Maybe the arches on the Glide 18s feel a little higher...but it could just be my old brain imagining that. Either way, the Hurricane 25s feel great on my tired 74 year old flat feet! Thanks Saucony! Can't wait to try the Omni 22s next.😎

Much better to run in than Hurricane 24s

Much better for running than Hurricane 24 which had good cushion but felt heavy and more cumbersome to run in. Use Hurricane 24 for walking and work. Like the improvements in the Hurricane 25 which feels lighter and easier to run with. Very pleased with Hurricane 25.

Horrible. Caused major PF issues. No rebound whatsoever and I couldn’t even tell if there was a stability component Really disappointed

Great Shoe For Older Feet

I'm 60 and have found I can't wear cheap shoes anymore. Cheap shoes make my feet ache. I bought two pairs of these 2 months ago. I wear them every day to the gym and for all day use. I love them! They are comfortable, have lots of cushion, and offer color options that don't look over designed - which is something I don't like about a lot of shoes today. I'm gearing up to order my third pair soon. Black, White, Grey.

My favorite shoes for walking - ever

I’ve been wearing these for several months as my walking shoes and absolutely love how comfortable and padded the soles are. I prefer a Ride or Guide for running, but you can’t beat these for an everyday shoe and for walking.

Disappointed by inaccurate photos

I was really excited to learn of the new Hurricane 25 and purchased quickly. I have been running in the Hurricane 24's and one of my biggest (if not only) complaints was that the tongue slips to the outside of the shoe pretty quickly into each run and won't stay put in the middle causing some discomfort. The photos online of the Hurricane 25 show a tongue stay loop that I really valued. I received my 25's in the mail and unboxed them to learn that the tongue stay loop isn't there at all... After watching some review videos for the 25's, I noticed there are no tongue stay loops on any of the 25's I've seen. So while I'm still waiting on Saucony Support's response, I'm not confident the photos of these shoes are accurate. Also, with the Shadow/ViZi colorway I got, the outsole of the shoe is actually yellow/orange (like the Guide 18) and not solid orange like the photos show. This is only minor to me but confirms my suspicion about the accuracy of the photos. The tongue stay loop is definitely a bummer, hopefully Saucony will sort it out but I wanted to make sure other buyers are aware in case anyone has similar affinities for a tongue stay loop!

Not my cup of tea

A long time devotee of Saucony--most recently theTriumph series--I had to switch to Brooks Glycerins after the most recent Triumph models did nothing but give me chronic blisters. In a fit of nostalgia I ordered the Hurricanes based on the promise of "max cushioning". After an easy four miles, the sock on the heel of my left foot was soaked in blood , and my of right achilles sported a quarter sized blister (and trust me, the fit was perfect))> Moreover although the forefoot of the shoe was reasonably soft, the mid and rear foot " cushioning was more than firm. A mid-foot striker, I can only describe the ride as jarring.
