High Waisted Raw Hem Denim Shorts

These are very comfortable and a great length as I am on the small side of petite. Like many I had to size up.

This is a nice style shorts for me as it flares out slightly making my legs look slimmer. The length, sitting mid-thigh, is also perfect. However, sizing is a real issue as reported by a lot of customers already. I'm always a M&S12 but these shorts are such a snug fit. I actually went through 3 pairs of 12 (size 14 unavailable) before finding an OK pair. One I couldn't do up the button at all, one the hem on the left hand side was so uneven that it looked like a DIY job went wrong. The final pair was still tight around the waist but I was hoping the fabric (100% cotton) would give a little over time. I would definitely suggest going up a size for comfort. All in all, I'm very happy with them and wore them a lot during the recent heatwaves.

Sizing issue again. What is going on M&S? I take an 8-10 so ordered a size 10 and they were really tight on the waist and through the thigh but baggy everywhere else. I ended up sizing up to a 12 which are much better.

They are a nice pair of shorts, and great if you have a little extra around the middle as it tucks you in, however, if you are 5ft2 or shorter and on the slim side, the waist comes up very high and if you sit down it practically touches your bra. So they are very restrictive and uncomfortable.

Great fit, true to size, good cut - short but not too short.

I love these shorts for the style and length, however, as per many other reviews, I found the sizing to be a little snug. Ordered a 12 which certainly for me with M&S, usually allows a bit of wriggle room however, I feel like they only become looser after a few hours. Shame really as a 14 would be too big.

These are the most flattering, comfortable denim shorts. I’ve spent years trying to find a perfect pair and these totally fit the bill. Not too long, not too short with a slight stretch and nice fitting waist. Bought in both colours. Like others, I sized up in these but love the fit and price.

Nice shorts & useful wardrobe item in summer. Material pouches slightly on backside but decided to overlook this & keep them.

Sizing wrong yet again. Had to size up which made the legs wider but I’ll keep them as fed up of returning clothes.
