Perfect
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable and reliable right out of the box. The cushioning is perfect for walking, and the color combinations are very clean and stylish. These quickly became my new go-to, and I’ve honestly ditched my other shoes. I now own all three colors and would love to see a grey option added soon. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a complete knee reconstruction. I bought these to be able to run without the impact pain in my knee. They work!! They are very comfortable, provide great support, and are allowing me to run without the pain.

Comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think they were slightly more comfortable than the Glycerin Max 1. I walked 14 miles in them at one shot and my knees did not complain. At the moment, they are my favorite shoes.

Worth the money!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a bigger runner (6’2 250lbs) and I upgraded to these from the Ghost 2’s and BOY the difference in performance was immediately noticeable! I have significantly less leg pain and I am able to do cardio for longer periods of times without getting tired. If you’re a bigger fella like me, I would definitely recommend picking these up! I do wish there was more color options, but that’s just a personal preference.

GREAT SHOE !!!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I have ran in Brooks Ghost and some of the most popular running shoes made by New Balance, Nike and Adidas. I run anywhere from 2-6 miles a day “almost” everyday. (BROOKS GHOST) was my go to “some better than others” until I decided to try the Glycerin Max 2. Great stability and bounce with the right amount of cushioning that keeps your feet from hurting and doesn’t bog down your forward motion. In fact, you can actually feel the forward assist ! Great cushion and rocker/toe push off benefit
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the shoes for couple months now for 3 mile runs and they are amazing, you have to get use to the rocker feel and toe push off but otherwise cushion is the right amount if your a heel striker as well. Definitely recommend them though I have yet to try a marathon or half marathon in them yet.

Spend the money buy the shoes
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the first edition of the glycerin max, so much that I bought 4 pairs. I was a little bit concerned to go with the 2nd edition but glad I did. In my experience most later generations of shoes I like tend to disappoint. The Glycerin Max 2s did not disappoint!

Incredibly comfortable daily runner
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is incredible. It was a comfortable fit on the first wear, and only got better as they broke in. The shoe delivers excellent softness, without sacrificing in spring or performance return. I personally didn’t notice the GlideRoll Rocker when walking, but on runs the continuous contour from heel to toe gives you some extra push forward, which was nice. The sole itself is tall and cushions well. I did feel like it was a little high for trail running or other activities on uneven surfaces, but I use these mostly on the road. The fit was true to size. I have really wide feet, so I usually size up a half size for running shoes, and these fit really well without feeling cramped in the toe box. The whole shoe is designed really well with comfortable and sturdy parts. The upper tongue is wide and feels well-made, but still comfortable on the top of my foot. The fit stayed secure through all types of runs. Overall, the shoe performed well on daily walks, short runs (about 5k for me), longer stretches (10k or more), and helped keep pressure off the knees during recovery runs. These absorb shock well and were noticeably easier on my body for long runs and day-after recovery runs. They’ve become my daily runners and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an instant fit, comfortable, well made shoe.

Glycerin max 2 running shoes
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying Brooks. I am a causal runner, mainly on the treadmill at the gym but occasionally in the neighborhood. My typical running shoes are trainers that I pick up on sale. This was my first set of dedicated running shoes. They did not disappoint. The fit was perfect for the size I ordered. Running was comfortable and felt natural with my foot. With other shoes I get shin splint at times but not with these. Very happy with my purchase.

Another Winner
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Probably my favorite running shoe yet, I had 3 pairs of the first gen Glycerin Max. As others mentioned, this new iteration has denser foam and is more responsive and way less mushy than the first one. Build quality is outstanding I continue to think Brooks is one of the most durable brands. It's also a great-looking shoe besides the boomer color ways. Which leads me into this pitch: Brooks, I love everything about your shoe except for the dated color ways - you're missing a huge market segment because of this, younger people are choosing New Balance simply because their designs are fresher. Functionally Brooks is a superior shoe - fresh, non-old people color ways would do your brand infinite justice. I am available for hire and guarantee if I was in charge of color ways, you would sell significantly more shoes. Please reach out at your convenience, thanks!

Running on a cloud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin Max 2 was my first time using a shoe with an oversized sole. I wear a men’s 9 and this shoe was comfortablely snug after getting laced up. The heel seemed a bit low when I tried them on for the first time but because of the fit, there was no issue with my heel slipping and no blisters. The first few steps did feel a little funny as I adjusted to the shoe height and the cushion feel but after a couple minutes I had acclimated to my new altitude. I liked the squishy cushion feel while running vs an harsh pounding. It is softer on my joints. I also like the spring like effect because of the shoe’s geometry. The GlideRocker was less noticeable on a treadmill than it was running on the track or road. I think this might help someone with endurance and long distance more than me who is bit out of shape.

Walking on air!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are unbelievably comfortable. They truly feel like I’m walking on air. My feet feel amazing even after wearing them all day, which is rare for me. The sole is super thick and provides incredible cushioning and support, making them perfect for walking, long days on your feet, or easy/light runs. While I love the plush feel, the thickness does make them a bit too bulky for intense or fast-paced running. The thickness kind of makes me feel like I’m rolling forward when I run in these. That said, they absolutely shine as an everyday comfort shoe and for recovery or casual runs. The fit is incredible, the black color looks sleek, and every time I put them on my feet are genuinely happy. These are my go-to shoes when comfort is the priority.

Glycerine Max 2
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerine Max 2 looks a bit crazy, with it stack height and rocker, but on the run your forget the looks as they simply deliver a quality running shoe, with no perceived potential drawbacks. I didn't notice the stack height on the run, except that it helped the shoe provide great cushion and softness, while at the same time provide good energy return. Similarly, the shoes appears to have a significant rocker, but, again, it provides a great feel, without being an extreme feel. I feel the tongue has been improved vs. the first version of this model shoe. For me the shoe is comfortable and fits true to size and is a good pure running shoe for me, providing more than normal cushion.

Brooks Glycerin Max 2 Review
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Glycerin Max 2 delivers exceptional support and cushioning for both daily wear and regular running. The GlideRoll Rocker has a short adjustment period, but once acclimated, it provides a smooth and comfortable ride. The fit is excellent, and the plush upper tongue adds noticeable comfort, especially during longer strides and runs with elevation. Performance was consistent across short daily runs and longer-distance workouts, and my feet felt great afterward with no soreness. Beyond performance, the shoe is also stylish and works well for everyday use, making it a great option for both running and casual wear.
