Where are the colors

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty upsetting that you never release a shoe that's 4E size 12 that isn't just Black or Gray. I like your brand and shoes are comfy but I like some color in my life too.

Guided Support, Natural Ride

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted the stability of the ASICS Gel Kayano 30 with the lighter, more agile feel of the Nike Invincible 3; and the Brooks GTS 23 delivered exactly that. The GuideRails give great support without feeling bulky, and the cushioning is soft but controlled. It feels stable on long runs but still quick enough to pick up the pace. Perfect balance of support and speed.

Solid with no complaints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you first look at this shoe, you immediately know it’s a running shoe—the bold colors and the hefty heel cushioning that flares out to the sides and back make that evident. Some people don’t mind a shoe that clearly looks like a performance runner, but I personally prefer something a bit more subtle. That said, the colorway is fashionable, and the false cuff detail that extends above where the collar actually ends adds a nice touch. Comfort-wise, the shoe is very good. The first thing I noticed when putting it on was how accommodating it is for wider feet. The toe box has noticeably more room than most Brooks models I’ve worn. There’s also an extra lace loop on the tongue that really helps lock the midfoot down. This creates a very secure, unified feel between your foot, the tongue, and the shoe itself. While that snug midfoot wrap will feel great to many runners, I had to loosen it slightly because it felt a bit too constricting for my preference. Still, the fit is secure while leaving plenty of space for your toes to move naturally. Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Brooks—solid, well-made, and durable. On the run, the cushioning is immediately noticeable. There’s a lot of it, and I see this as a bit of a double-edged sword. For experienced runners who are used to highly cushioned shoes and don’t rely heavily on ground feel, this won’t be an issue. For newer runners, though, the lack of ground feedback might encourage heavier, flatter foot strikes since everything feels so muted. Personally, I prefer slightly less cushioning so I can feel the ground more and stay better connected to my stride. Overall, this is a very good shoe, especially if you’re looking for comfort, a secure midfoot, and a roomy toe box. The only reason it’s not a full five stars for me is the amount of cushioning—it’s excellent if that’s what you’re after, but it’s something you should be sure matches your running style before committing.

Favorite road running shoe right out of the box!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t wait to lace up my Glycerin GTS 23’s! As soon I popped open the box I put them on and went for a run. The shoes were so light but solid. They seemed to bounce as I ran. The fit was just right through most of the shoe. The toe box seemed a little big and it caused my toes to slip slightly, nothing major though. I completed a 5K and my feet felt great. The hilly terrain was no match for these shoes! Great run straight away and the experience held up over the past couple weeks. I’ve also worn them on my treadmill. They are very responsive but the thick sole didn’t feel right for indoor running. I love the look and the bright green color is perfect for race day! I’d highly recommend these to anyone training for or competing in outdoor running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these running shoes! They feel great the moment I put them on, and they continued to feel amazing even as I ran mile after mile. The bright colors really stand out and give them a fun, energetic look. They’re incredibly lightweight, which makes running feel easier and more natural. The cushioning is excellent and absorbs impact well, while the arch and heel support provide solid stability throughout my run. Overall, they’re comfortable, supportive, and stylish—exactly what I was looking for in a running shoe.

Great looking, great fitting shoes

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Anyone who runs knows that the most important tool is the shoe. The slightest issue in the most minor of details can lead to major pain, which is why it's so hard to trust a pair you're not familiar with. I am pleased to say that with the Glycerin GTS 23's I was not disappointed to try something new. The fit is great in every detail, from the toebox to the heel. It hugs the foot in a way that it feels as though it's simply an extension of my body. I haven't put a full month of work into them yet, but after a few runs so far, so good. But what's truly great about these shoes is that not only do they function well, they look great! The design is excellent and somehow makes you feel even faster when you wear them. If you're looking to try a new pair, you would do well to give these a try.

Remarkable

Max propulsion when needed while giving you sustained armored support all around. From the outside the shoe looks like it will feel bulky and heavy. However the materials are light and breathable, contrasting with the tank-like construction generating confidence with defense against the elements your feet will encounter. Such a unique shoe full of individual special characteristics combined to create and serve a variety of scenarios that is purposeful towards tow-off optimized running.

The Gold Standard for Plush Stability

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using these Brooks Glycerin GTS 23s for my treadmill runs (usually 3 times a week), and they are easily the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned. Right out of the box, they felt soft and "broken in.". The cushioning is excellent—it feels like it absorbs the impact really well, which has been great for my knees. I also appreciate the extra stability; they keep my feet feeling steady without being heavy or clunky. Plus, the white and lime green colorway looks even better in person. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable shoe for the gym or daily runs, I definitely recommend these!

Glycerin GTS 23

It needed a little bit of getting use to but once I did, they were so comfortable. No need to break in the shoes. I am average build 5'10" 170lbs. The shoes are true to size as the width is normal. I've used it at the gym and outdoors. While walking and running, it gives the support where you need and want. The cushion softens the impact on the cement and machines. Design and color goes well. I like the different shades of neon and the black and white makes it more subtle if you don't like bright colors. Comfort and flexibility of the shoe is excellent and the tread of the shoe gives it a good grip. Comparing this with the Glycerin Flex, they are about the same but the treads are different which the Flex has more flexibility as it's in the name. With the name Glycerin it sounds bright and sweet.

Bright at night

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin GTS 23 is my go to running shoe it is very versatile for running not only on the road but they were also excellent for treadmill use as well. They fit perfectly on foot but I would suggest sizing up if you plan on using running socks or any thicker socks during the winter climate. Overall I was very satisfied with the Glycerin GTS 23 and found the neon green helped me standout on my night runs, which gave me a sense of protection. The sole is extremely durable and I’ve logged around 120 miles on my pair so far and they still have a bunch of miles in them. I’d highly recommend the Glycerin GTS 23 and give it a 9/10.

Glycerin GTS 23 Review

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been running in Brooks shoes since I first took up running in 1995. Over the years, I’ve completed two NYC Marathons, 15 half marathons, and countless other races, and the Glycerin GTS 23 is by far my favorite running shoe to date. They are exceptionally comfortable, with excellent cushioning and outstanding lateral support. Whether I’m running on the road or on a treadmill, they consistently outperform comparable shoes from other brands. Beyond performance, the Glycerin GTS 23 also stands out for its style. The color options are modern and versatile, making them a great choice not only for running but also for everyday wear. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a top-tier running shoe—or a comfortable, stylish sneaker for daily use.
