Glycerin 23 Best Yet

Good addition, just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like these but I found them to be a tad heavier than I like and a little too much sole. They are comfortable but I couldn't get past the fullness. I can't quite put my finger on it. When I compare Brooks shoes, I compare them to my favorite, the Glycerin 20. Best shoe, best, perfect comfort for running/walking, perfect toe box width, breathable fabric etc. I think this will be a good shoe for a lot of people but just not for me.

Running on Clouds on Treadmill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new Glycerin 23. Replaced an old pair of Glycerin 20's about 2 weeks ago. I run almost exclusively on a treadmill and the comfort of the 23 is incredible. The impact on the belt is so soft whether I'm running slow (6.5 mph) or fast (10 mph). I have even been able to set a new speed record of 11.5 mph in the new 23's. I did change sizes from an 8 1/2 in the 20's down to an 8 in the 23's. I would highly recommend them. For context, I'm 67 yrs old male. 5' 8" and 151 lbs. Run a little over 10 miles per week.

Shoes to help you Go the Distance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best shoes I’ve ever had. Feels like I’m fluffing and each step is propelling me into the next. The shoe is turning me into a runner and preparing me for my first half marathonmarathon

Runs Small in all areas.

I wear a regular size 12 in most shoes, have to have wide in some brands, I got the 12 wide in these and not only were they not wide enough, my big toe felt like it was rubbing the end of the shoe. It felt like my foot was going to bust out of the sides.

Just Buy Them You Won’t Regret It!

Much better than the Glycerin 22. More cushion, fluid motion. Foot doesn’t feel fatigue after long standings which is a A+. Will buy again buy waiting on more

Better than yours
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are comfortable right out of the box! Wore them for 6 hours after delivered and can say extra wide is much better than what Saucony or NB offers. Legs and feet were not sore nor tired as cushioning is superb. Very happy with these and roomy toebox.

Podiatrist Approved
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5/5 – Super comfortable, supportive daily shoe The Brooks Glycerin 23 is plush without feeling unstable. Comfortable out of the box, roomy toe box, smooth ride, and great for long days on your feet, walking, or easy runs. As a podiatrist, I’d confidently recommend this for people dealing with foot fatigue, heel pain, or who want all-day comfort.

Great shoe for performance with a bit more cushioning.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
Very happy with my new Glycerin 23s. I have run in Ghosts for many many many years (since low single digits!), but at 71 I have determined I may need a neutral shoe with more padding, and the Glycerin 23 has delivered perfectly. I run about 41 miles a week, with a 12 mile weekend run, and I have found the heel pain I was beginning to suffer has diminished considerably. I think both the extra cushioning and the slightly lower heel-toe drop (8 from 10) has helped. But the performance of the Glycerin is very comparable to the Ghost (we'll see how my time is in my next half marathon next month!), and I would highly recommend the shoe for anyone looking for a bit more cushioning but still great performance.

My best shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In over 30 years of running this is my favorite shoe ever. I love the cushioning and fit (my feet are wide). Glycerin 18 was my first Brooks shoe experience and I have run in Glycerin ever since. I've run in many other shoe brands but the Glycerin 23 is the best. I wear them for more than just running and like the comfort while just walking.

Excellent out of the box
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent right out of the box, didn't need to break in, just ran with them. Enough cushion without losing the feel of the road. Smooth transition. Sizing was true. The collar of the shoe is tight but cushioned around the ankle. Have run a few times in the rain and didn't notice any slipping which is always a plus. Would highly recommend for a daily trainer.

This color...runs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fresh pair of Brooks Glycerin never fails to impress...and make me a bit faster. The fit? Perfect as usual (size 9) The comfort? Bouncy as always! And a pet peeve of mine? aAlways the laces. These tie tight. (thank you) And the color? LOVE IT. Other runners may be "green" with envy with this color! :0)

Good but is a different color

Right out of the box the softness
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box the softness is noticeable. Brooks didn’t just slap foam in there to say they did. The cushioning feels plush underfoot in daily runs and long easy days. You get that “I can keep going” feeling instead of the “when will this end” vibe that some shoes give you. Added plus is I love the color. I initially started running in Brooks, late in the game at 55, moved to many different shoes chasing something I found in these Glycerin 23's.
