    Support and comfort

    For the love of running

I run 6 miles a day, and can always take them out of the box and just go and run without fail. Thanks Brooks!

Some changes are not necessary. Bring back the original.

    Don't like size changes

Glycerin 23’s provide great support and cushioning but you might prefer to go up a half-size

The toe box is definitely narrower in comparison, and the padded inner heel-hugging cushion initially made the length of my usual sizing feel too short. I also wear orthotics for arch support and have 3 different ones to use depending upon shoe styles and need. I had to switch to my thinner orthotic in these shoes because the ones I usually wear walking or running were uncomfortable because the heel-hugging cushion seemed to position my foot forward a little which made the arch support in the orthotic feel like it was in the wrong place. After long walks in the thinner orthotics they feel just fine and I appreciate the cushioning the shoes provide. I think wearers with narrower feet and heels would love these shoes because they provide great heel stabilization, but you might have to go a half-size up in length. Since I love the wider toe box of the Ghost Max 3’s and can use my preferred orthotics, I am looking forward to next trying the Ghost Max 4’s.

Great carriage and plenty of cushion.

Tight toe box and feels like a brick

This version is way too tight and restrictive in the toe box. After just a few short runs, my toes were hurting so bad that I avoided wearing them completely. On top of that, the ride is terrible. There is absolutely no bounce or springiness, it literally feels like running on a brick. I ended up giving away my practically brand new pair because they were unusable. Very disappointed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Road Running Shoes I've Ever Worn!

From the very first run, they felt incredibly comfortable with plush cushioning that absorbs impact without feeling overly soft. Every stride feels smooth, stable, and effortless. Whether I'm running a few miles or tackling longer distances, my feet stay comfortable and fatigue is noticeably reduced. The fit is secure, the upper is breathable, and the heel-to-toe transition feels natural. These shoes give me the confidence to focus on my run instead of thinking about sore feet or tired legs. If you're looking for a premium road running shoe that delivers exceptional comfort, cushioning, and reliability, I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin 23. They've completely exceeded my expectations and have become my favorite running shoes ever. I'll definitely be buying another pair.

Don’t like the new design due to less ankle support.

I’m a long-time Brooks loyalist, always used to buy the Ghost and really fell in love with the Glycerin 20 several years ago. Now I alternate my runs between Ghost and Glycerin. This shoe provides good support and feels so comfy on long runs. I can only give 4 stars to this edition because I hate the new “lip” of fabric around the ankle. I much prefer the higher ankle on the Glycerin 20-22 that provided more ankle support.

I only wish they made them in a medium to dark gray.
