Cute but uncomfortable
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the styling, but hurt my feet. Hoped these would be like Ghost 16 with better style, but no. There is a weird rigid plastic layer by laces that digs into ankles. And somehow hot as wide/pliable in toe box so aggravated tendonitis.

Ouch, not the same fit!!

Sad. Very disappointed that the 17 is dramatically different fitting then the 16. I definitely won't be training or running in these. Bring back the fit of the Ghost 14, 15 or 16!!! Whhhhyyyy did you ruin a perfect fitting running shoe!? I was a long time wearer of brooks but now I'll look into other brands. I never thought that would happen.

Very uncomfortable
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
These are probably the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn a Brooks. The ghost 14 were my absolute favorite. I wore them until they were completely worn out and had to purchase a new pair of shoes so I purchased these and they hurt my heels. I’ve been trying to do small walks in them to break them in, but I’ve never had to do this in a pair of Brooks. Why do you guys keep messing with a good thing just so you can make more sales? We have to buy new pairs anyway when we wear them out and then you take away the product we like.

Most comfortable shoes ever!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Ghost designs are the most comfortable shoes ever, and every year they just get better a d better. I buy these mostly for working 12 hour shifts at a hospital. I have never had a more comfortable pair of shoes for these shifts in the 24 years I've worked in health care. I will never buy a different brand of tennis shoes for comfort again. After an entire year of wearing these shoes for work only I retire them to my home gym shoes that are used for the treadmill among other workouts.

Don’t add nitrogen in the soul of this amazing shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please, Brooks DO NOT change this shoe. I have had to throw away my Brooks glycerin and now my Brooks adrenaline 25s because they make me feel dizzy, lightheaded and I have blurred vision wearing these shoes. You put nitrogen in the soul of these shoes (glycerine and adrenaline 25) The Brooks ghost is the ONLY shoe you made this season that my nervous system can tolerate. I feel balanced. My ears don’t ring. My vision is clear. I must wear a shoe at all times in order to feel stable because of my amazing physical therapist and her understanding of how Shoes create stability in my system! PLEASE stop adding nitrogen in the soul of your shoes. I feel like I’m wearing ann ice skate! Please listen to the amazing physical therapists from Hruska Clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have a huge following a physical therapists who understand the importance of a good structured and stable shoe. Don’t try to replicate the Hoka. My Brooks Adrenaline 24’s are great too but the 25’s make me feel off balance everywhere.

Not great quality
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely comfortable but after a week of wearing, the toe box area got a hole in it. I have a very low impact job, so I’m not roughing the shoe. I feel like for the amount they were, the quality isn’t that great. I’ve been a huge fan of brooks but my last few pairs have done this. Holes at the toe box or back of the heel. I have a feeling I’ll be making a switch.

Great fit every time
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cushion and fit and love all the color options. The ghost is a perfect fit every time. I have wider feet but haven’t needed a wide width. I walk and do a bit of jogging and the cushion has been perfect.

Disappointing New Design
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been purchasing the Ghost shoes for several years and have owned multiple pairs. Unfortunately, the new Ghost 17 design is not satisfactory. It’s uncomfortable to put on the shoes, and the bottom is extremely hard, causing pain while walking or running for any length of time. My feet actually hurt when I wear them for extended periods.

A very different Ghost
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
This years style is very different from the typical Ghosts. Very uncomfortable and slide off your heel easily. They may be a great for someone looking for that but don’t expect it to fit anywhere near past Ghost sneakers
