Ghost 17 Running Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these in 8.5 wide in black/white, ordered not that long ago. Love them. Super comfortable. These should be the same in a different color way but they are not. Fit is much narrower and tighter. Wanted to love them but they are going back.

This shoe is very uncomfortable from the minute I put it on. They are very stiff and tight! I have had 2 pair of the Ghost (15 & 16) and they were comfortable the minute I put them on. I purchased these because my past experience was great. These are terrible! I will be returning them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not as immediately comfortable as previous versions because the insole is hard and the toe box slightly more narrow. But, I’m buying my second pair to keep indoors. Ghost has more cushion than the Glycerin and Adrenaline. I need the support for my heel and ankles. Stop messing with success please - especially the GTX which was so tight and painful I was afraid to wear it just to walk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a wide tho normally I don’t & im glad I did. The fit is good with wide. The shoes are a bit stiff and I don’t like the orange toe but they’re great for gym workouts. Very stable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shoe. It fits lengthwise, but in a toe box area it’s narrow for my feet. I’m probably gonna send them back, but I’m wearing them right now to see if they will kind of stretch out in the toe area.

They feel good everywhere except the toes box. I would prefer a wider shape like my toes. Not wider in the heel midsole. I will wear them longer and see if it will continue to be my shoe of choice as it has been for many years.

I’ve been wearing Ghost for long distance (mainly road, but some trail) running for over a decade and love this running shoe!!! Ghost 17 is tried and true, and continues to live up to my expectations and standards. Provides just the right amount of cushion without too much. Fits true to size for good running shoes - always go one size larger than your normal everyday shoe size to allow for movement and flexibility.

I personally LOVE the Glycerin's but she enjoys a more sleek shoe and these are perfect for her. They aren't quite as bulky, but have plenty of comfort. For reference, she wears a 7.5 in heels/flats, and an 8 is perfect for a little extra wiggle room for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several Brooks Ghost in the past and thought it was an easy, safe bet that these would work too. Unfortunately, one foot the tongue was off and hurt and the other the ankle area was. I was bummed I had to return them and back to searching for that overall shoe.
