Ghost 17 Running Trainers

I sent em back. The 17’s are to narrow in the toe part of the shoe. The 16’s fit so much better. I love brooks shoes but after purchasing a handful of shoes that don’t fit good and are not as comfortable as previous models I’m gonna look @ trying another shoe manufacturer. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ​My Review of the Brooks Ghost 17: The Ultimate Everyday Workhorse ​I recently purchased the Brooks Ghost 17, and after putting some solid miles in them, I can confidently say they live up to the hype. I was looking for a reliable, comfortable daily trainer for my regular runs and walks, and these have absolutely delivered. ​The biggest upgrade I noticed right away is the new DNA LOFT v3 midsole. This nitrogen-infused foam makes the ride feel incredibly smooth and protective. It is noticeably softer and lighter than previous versions, but without that overly squishy, unstable feeling that some modern running shoes have. It gives me the perfect amount of cushioning to keep my legs and joints feeling fresh, even on longer efforts. ​In terms of fit, the step-in comfort is amazing straight out of the box. The engineered mesh upper hugs my foot securely without any tight spots, and the padded tongue and collar mean I get a perfect lockdown with zero heel slippage. ​Another thing I really appreciate is the durability. The outsole has a thick layer of RoadTack rubber that provides excellent grip on both wet and dry pavement, and I can already tell these are built to last for hundreds of miles. ​With their traditional 12mm drop, they feel incredibly stable and smooth during transitions. While they aren't designed to be a snappy speed shoe for race days, they are the absolute perfect workhorse for my everyday miles and recovery runs. Buying the Ghost 17 was a fantastic investment, and they have easily become my go-to pair. Highly recommended!

Needed a new pair of sneakers, already had the Ghost 16 so the 17 seemed to be the way to go. WRONG! They are not as comfortable and even though I bought a wide size they still cramp my toes. Sorry I bought them.
