Ghost 17 GTX Running Trainers

Was wearing ghost max 2. They were the best shoe ever for my plantar fascitis. The Ghost 17GTX not enough to padding for heel. Got them because they're waterproof. Wish the ghost max was waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually buy running shoes but let me tell you these walking shoes are running through my dreams. Great cushioning without feeling cumbersome and they seem to propel you forward with every stride.

Been wearing Ghost GTX’s since the 6. These are by far my favorites out of all of them. Have had every pair in between the 6 and 17. There have been some ups and downs, but I believe this to be their zenith, thus far. The fit is form fitting, the cushioning is plush, and the fit & finish is of superb quality. Will be purchasing another pair of 17s, as I’ve logged over 700 miles on my current pair. Use this model going forward, please!

The overall fit and finish are great as usual, but the black version really seems to be green in color. Not sure who else feels that way but I wouldn’t buy this years version again due to that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shoe. I've been a Brooks fan for more than a decade, mostly versions of Cascadia and Ghost, mostly as a casual runner. The quality of materials, construction, and features of this shoe are amazing, and it performs really well. I'm particularly positive on the sole design, which seems significantly more substantial than the sole on some other current models. My only gripe is forefoot fit. The toe box seems tighter vertically than previous Ghost iterations, just enough to make me aware of the issue. I don't know if the shoe is built on a different last or what, but it's a small detractor from an otherwise nearly perfect shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 16s were getting old that i absolutely loved so I figured time for a new pair which only can get the new 17s. These actually kind of hurt, after hours of wearing them they squeeze the top of my foot and become sore and feel like the tongue is twisted or something is lodged into the shoe which the 16s NEVER did. Bring back the 16s please 😓

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first run in Ghost 17 GTX surpassed my expectations! I bought these for easy and long runs. It had just recently rained and there were plenty of puddles along my route to test out. My feet stayed completely dry and debris rolled right off. Temperature was in the low 50s and my feet didn’t feel too warm or get sweaty. The ride really impressed me. This is my first pair of Ghosts and they felt lively and although are on the heavier side, I never noticed the extra weight. The laces are a good length and stay tied with a double knot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a runner. However I am on my feet a lot each and every day and put in a lot of steps. I got these shoes because of the waterproof. Because they’re waterproof they also keep my feet much warmer during the winter months. These shoes do not disappoint. When I get home at the end of the day my feet do not hurt. I have no problems making it through a long work day…inside or outside. Overall a great shoe. The ghost series of brooks are my absolute favorite.
