Fresh Foam 680 V9 Trainers

I recently had foot surgery and was not able to get into my regular Fresh Foams due to swelling. I ordered the 4E and they were perfect. I'm familiar with the Fresh Foam line and these got me walking again. Special thanks to New Balance for making a 4E shoe! It really helped me out with my recovery.

Heel is not supported well and not for neutral feet

These are excellent shoes, very comfortable and well designed. I wear them at the gym and kicking around. They have great support and fit perfectly. New Balance has a terrific line up of extra-wide shoes and I now have 4 pairs (13 4e). They look fantastic, really good style and colors. 5 Stars+

These have really helped me start running. For the first time I can run and not feel foot and knee pain to follow. I honestly didn't expect such a big difference, but these unassuming blue guys get the job done. I got the wide foot version and it was 2x comfort.

I actually wore the shoes for the first time today and was very disappointed in the feel and the lack of fresh foam in the shoe. I have other New Balance Fresh Foam shoes that are much “cushier” than these. I guess they are ok for occasional use, but I will never buy them again.

The shoes look great! But the comfort does not last. My work consist of me standing for long periods of time and about three hours in my feet were hurting. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re doing a lot of standing, but if you just need something to match your outfit for the day then I’m sure it’s not a bad option.

I put these on early in the morning and ran around doing my usual activities. They didn’t come off for about 12 hours and I was comfortable all day.

Not comfortable at all it hurts so bad to wear they are unwearable

I like my shoes, but they are really spongy. Is that normal?

I e worn out several pairs of model 680 shoes. They’re the best I have found for me. Always comfortable, even when they are on their “last legs”. With the dogs I average 3-4 miles a day. Not a lot, but enough at my age.

Very comfortable shoe. I’ve been a new balance fan for years. I’m there by far the best shoes out there.

This is my fourth pair of 680. The quality, fit, and most of all comfort for walking all day is excellent. At 67 I don't run but have plenty of pains from the days when I could participate in sports and the 680 gives me great comfort. My orthopedist commented on them the other day. He said they are excellent.

Theyre bouncy and cushioned at the same time. Durability is a little low because of the fresh foam, but all and all for the price probably the best for casual runners.
