Floral Ruffle Hem Midi Tea Dress

I bought this dress this week online. When I unwrapped the dress I could see that it was very long. When I tried it on it reached the floor, definitely a maxi dress on me at 5’ 4”. To be a midi either I would have to be 6’ tall or the dress would need to be 8” shorter. The dress cannot be shortened because of the layered hem. Having said that it is a very pretty dress, suitable for autumn wear with boots or shoes but being a maxi limits its suitability for some occasions.

I bought this after reading the good reviews online. At 5'10" this dress does not fit. The bodice is tight and the waist seam is far too high. Sizing is all wrong. The fabric is good but the dress is out of stock in most sizes so I couldn't order a larger size to see if the waist problem could be rectified. I returned it to the store for a refund.

I knew this dress would work as soon as I unwrapped it. The material feels really nice and is good quality. I love the colour and the dress looks good and I know I will wear it a lot.

I liked the look of this dress. I bought another dress by Ghost on M&S site and found a size 12 was a perfect fit. However it took a size 14 in this one. I could get in and out of it without using the side zip, so I ended up removing the zip and sewing up the side seam. No need for zip!

Lovely dress, good quality thick material which hangs well, good for end of summer/autumn

Bought A few days ago and pleased in general. Only thing is the length is nearer to maxi than midi and two ruffles will make shortening diffcult.

Love this dress. Pattern even nicer than on screen Floaty style and comfortable to wear.

Great dress suitable for cooler summer days. The quality and cut of the material is extremely good, this makes the dress hang perfectly.
