Ideal as a beach dress so will keep as it's nice looses material for hot days in the garden, but unless your flat chested and very thin tying the belt will just make you look fat. Very wide for a size 14 and the pockets increase the width so makes you look huge! It would help if M and S showed the clothes on different sized people!!

No, I don't recommend this
This dress is made from a nice, soft cotton material. I like the blue colour. The regular goes to the top of the knee on me (1.73m tall). But it looks very unflattering on me. To give the dress a bit of shape you have to use the belt. But if you use the belt to pull the dress in at the back, you end with a lot of folds at the back, which makes your behind look bigger. Also the top of the dress is very balloony at the shoulders and sleeves and gives a funny shape for the top part. Not very well cut at the top in my opinion.

Nice dress and material but as usual with M&S sizes are out ☹️ I ordered a size 8 but I’ve now managed to find a size 6 online so waiting on delivery. Not enough clothes to fit small or petite Could have done with more shaping in the actual dress so will see if the smaller size is an improvement Don’t think it’s value for money compared to other dresses available on Next
