Floral Jacquard A-Line Skirt

My Mum (89) bought this and it fits her a treat, especially as she gave up buying skirts many moons ago. Really stylish and a lovely print.

So beautiful I had to type that thrice. A very unusual style, choice of colours and a nice thick fabric. Will wear with a a) teal and b) orange blouse to go all glam.

I really liked the colors in this, which made a nice change from the surfeit of blue in Per Una at the moment. However, the very straight cut and fit is clearly designed for women with narrow hips and larger waists, and simply did not work on my hourglass figure. I thought the fabric was very cheap-looking, and the style was odd, too: the deep frill around the hem gives it a 'lampshade look'. Another Per Una disappointment.

This skirt looks remarkably similar to some curtains in my Aunts house. Lovely as curtains rather awful as a skirt. Poor very unflattering style similar to the skirts I used to make for my dollies. Very cheap looking and hugely overpriced, most certainly not a Per Una skirt, actually these days very few skirts are M&S skirts, looking rather akin to the cheaper end of mail order.

I love the color and feel of the skirt. It is so comfortable to wear and doesn't crease easily. I am so glad that I persisted into trying to purchase it as at first it was shown with black lace up blouse and didn't offer the skirt for sale at that time. Thank-you. It is a must for my holiday wardrobe.
