Firm Control Waist Sculpt™ Slip

I bought this one a year ago and have used it so much under my dresses so I have now worn it out (due to a lot of washing) . I am ordering a new one since this is the best one I have had from M&S.

Bought this today after being just about ready to return a very nice dress due to the silhouette not looking 'tidy' enough. However, this full slip has helped me look better in the dress, so it's staying. The slip is comfortable once you've wriggled around and got comfortable, the top is (for me) particularly comfortable. I had a different slip before which sat under your own bra but I felt it lifted you up too much and if you are on the large side, it looked wrong! This slip has a much nicer arrangement over your breasts, in that you can wear your own bra and the top section is quite smooth and comfy and it covers your own bra. If you were quite small, you wouldn't need to wear a bra. I did wonder, because it was quite comfortable, whether I should have got the size down, so I went and tried that too but stayed with my dress size. Very pleased with it,

Although this was a great foundation slip, I think it would be best suited to a classic hour glass figure, which sadly I am not, so had to return it. It is quite difficult to get into but I could see it would do its job and hold everything in place if it suits your figure type. It's just not for mine.

It is super super comortable and shapes your body hidding all those little sticky out bits we all want to hide. Most days I wear bodycon dresses and it never shows through and makes your figure look sleek and smooth. This slip was very disappointing, it was not made of a nice quality fabric and I never even tried it on. It went straight back.

this garmet i found to be better fitting than the one ordered by cup size (they were VERY tight) this has good shaping, top allows you to wear a bra and not flatten your bust and so creates a good shape under tighter fitting clothes. Maybe just a tad short, when dancing it is inclined to slip upwards!!

Ok, this looks good, is high quality etc but is the most uncomfortable item of control wear I've had in a long time (I wear daily for work). As I write I've been wearing it at work for 11 hours, and I still have a long drive home. I've spent the day with my hands constantly up my skirt pulling the thing down as the bottom keeps rolling up around my thighs and it seems to be gathering under my bust, squeezing my rib cage which is becoming painful. I know they are meant to be super tight but I possibly need a size larger as this feels on the small size, but how can you tell without wearing it for a day... by the very nature of the garment they're not the easiest to get on, and by the time you realise it's unwearable, you can't return it! I will persevere with it in the hope that the elastane loosens up a bit - will be fab once it stops bunching but I have a fair few uncomfortable days before it gets anywhere near bearable!

This fits great on the waist but I have a large bust and does not fit, its a shame really because it fits well everywhere else. I have sent this back.

This is definitely a great 'shapewear' product. I have other shapewear undewear but this is the best one I've purchased and gives me that 'hour-glass' figure I need when wearing the latest Bodycon dresses which I love to wear., I paid full price for this product several months ago so the value for money at the sale price is absolutely fabulous! I only wish they also did the same 'control; slip with smaller straps as there is a limit to the sort of dresses this control slip can go under due to the thickeness of the straps, On the up-side you could actually where just a skirt and jacket as the top=half of the control slip could 'pass' as a very nice top also!!!!!!!

This was a true fit and helped to smooth out my stomach and waist perfectly so the dress I was wearing looked fantastic. The only downside was that it finishes about mid thigh and just continually rode up all day long, I found it so frustrating I was desperate to take it off after a few hours. I'd say for a sit down dinner / evening it would be absolutely fine but if you are planning one where you move about a lot then I wouldn't recommend it.

From the photo you would expect this slip to come down to below the hips. In fact it is so short that it only just covered my waist! It just wasn't long enough to be called a slip, although the top half did fit well. I had to return the product.

Had the funniest experience first trying on this garment. Bit like getting into a wetsuit. Discovered that going upstairs was quite a challenge, as I had to walk knock kneed. However, once I was in it I felt SECURE, which was the idea. It did what it said on the packet. and held me in where it was supposed to. I could actually breathe reasonably well, although sitting down had to be achieved gradually and surreptitious pulling down was needed on regaining a vertical position. I wanted to look curvy but not too flabby and it certainly had the desired effect!! Wouldn't wear it every day though ;-)

Really fab slip. This, combined with a hook and eye waist clincher held my pot belly in beautifully and actually looked remarkably sexy considering it is a control product. Only slight criticism is that the shoulder straps are a bit wide - I had to get them altered so they wouldn't show under my dress, thought obviously this would not be a problem for all. A great purchase!
