Read the reviews and there were sufficient written by customers with a fuller figure to persuade me take the plunge and purchase the last one available in the sale. I was delighted with it once I had managed to fasten it but it will become an easier task once worn and stretched.

This is my second purchase of this fantastic sports bra. The 34D is exactly true to size and holds my ‘girls’ in place when I’m running. I’m really pleased to find an underwired, non-padded ‘cups’ sport bra that’s also easy to put on/take off. The padded, wide shoulder straps are a welcome feature. Another important point is the band fastening: three settings, each securely held with x 4 hooks and eyes. By the way, I bought the second one as a ‘back up’, as M & S will probably stop making this design at some point. When I’m running, I forget I’m wearing a bra, which is the highest compliment of all. I’m just comfy and supported. Perfection :-)

Annoying straps

Purchase this bra as advertised as extra impact sports bra which I wanted for my jazzercise classes. The bra is a good fit although I do feel the style tends to squash your bust at the front and gives a strange shape. The support was good though so I overlooked that. However I have found that every time I wear the bra despite adjusting the straps to max support each time I put it on, after my class the metal adjustment on the straps has worked its way down to about half way. The straps are too sloppy a fabric and this is annoying. I see other reviewers have found the same thing since my purchase. A design flaw perhaps, otherwise a good supportive bra, which would be nice in other colours too please.

Love this bra good support ,lovely fit , bought my usual size. Actually like this bra on me , (wlhich is unusual for me with my large bust only usually like plunge under wired.)feel good in it . As well as practical for Zumba. Definitely recommend this bra.

I like this sports bra but I will have to return it because I struggle to fasten it. It maybe just me but it was a struggle to fasten and I can’t face that everything I nip down to the gym. It is nice material though and I am disappointed that I wont be keeping it.

Everything abut this sports bra is good but I have great difficulty fastening it at the back. Took about 5 mins to hook the 4 fasteners and was exhausted at the end! Will have to get someone to help in future!

Not the most attractive of sports bras - M&S please take note, ladies with larger breasts like pretty patterns, styles and colours as well!! Having said that this bra is supremely comfortable and the 'bounce-factor' is minimal - even with a 38G bust! Good fit and good-quality fabric.

At last a comfortable sports bra that fits me. I'm a 42e and have struggled to even find a sports bra that size. I would recommend this bra to anyone it keeps you in place without making you feel all cramped up in the bra. It is excellent value for money I will definitely get another one.

I generally struggle to find a well fitting sports bra that does the job but doesn't leave me feeling as though I'm wearing a straight jacket! I was sceptical when it arrived but having worn it for a couple of my high impact classes I can say that it's fabulous. I will be ordering at least one more very soon.

Well worth the effort to find a sports bra in my size - and the initial struggle to put it on. Really supporting , feel both safe and comfortable. Makes my terror of exercising a bit less horrific. 'Larger ladies' need to workout too so M&S please stock more in the 'abundant' sizes.

Does it work: HECK YES. Great for running and high-impact cardio, even for larger bazooms. I am pretty sure a bomb could go off within this bra and it would not move. Is it comfy: For an underwired sports bra, yes. No chafing, not too tight. Is it sexy: It is not even the tiniest bit sexy. If the phrase 'a life of chastity' were expressed in clothing form it would be this bra. Overall: Good buy, would buy again.
