These are the perfect trousers for travelling! I wore them on a work trip to the Apennines in Italy - on the plane, to run a workshop, hiking on a mountain and for dinner and drinks. They're lightweight, breathable, cut like work trousers but from technical fabric. The zip pockets are super useful, especially in airports etc when you want a credit card and boarding pass handy. The drawstring is as comfy as pj's, wide leg is flattering but not too wide. I'm 165cm and 55kg and the xs fit perfectly although for someone shorter the legs might be a bit long. I also bought the tapered leg Explorer trousers in navy, equally good especially for shorter people (or muddy places) as they're ankle length, they don't have the zip pockets though. It's really rare that I buy myself anything new but I don't regret these!

These are buttery soft and silky, quick drying - cool in the heat - and don’t crease easily. Great for casual, smarten up with a nice top or relaxed travelling. I’m 5’11 and the 32 inch inseam was perfect - ordered the blue too but kept these as the colour was great !

Wasn't too sure about these at first, but now I'm in love! For reference, I'm 5'2, usually a size 10 and ordered my usual size S in the Explorer range, in the shorter 30" leg option. While I wish there was a shorter leg length (say, 28" or 29"), when I wear them with chunky trainers they sit just above the floor. As they have the same lightweight material as the standard Explorer trousers, they are great for warm weather and will be perfect for holidays as they will pack down without taking up much space.

I returned the black At Ease trousers as they were too floppy and loose and bought these instead. I am absolutely delighted with them. I bought size medium 32 inch leg, and they are perfect. I usually buy large in the gym leggings but reviews said these were big so I decided to go for medium. The length is great, the material is stretchy and good quality and they are so comfortable.

Bought these for every day wear with the jacket for a smarter look. Girls in shop ordered me the longer length which look great with my trainers. Flattering fit and hang nicely, thinner than expected but will be ideal to on a warm day.

Zippered pockets

These trousers are great in every way (they fit like a dream over hips and waist) except, for me, the zippered pockets are a problem. Zippered pockets are not kind to hands slipping in and out, and they are an encumbrance. Otherwise I would recommend these trousers--the fabric is lovely and smooth.

I have several explorer items which I love. Is it me or has the fabric got a lot thinner? These seem very flimsy and unsubstantial for a jogger. Can't quite imagine how or when I'd wear them. Shame, but these are going back.

Great fit (XS) and I’m 5ft 7, 58kg and usually wear and British size 8 - super silky feel material but doesn’t crease and not see through - tie waist helps and these come up high waist on me - needed the longer length to wear with trainers
